We got our flights for $69 each way on Southwest too! So amazing that our family of 3 is flying for less than $500 roundtrip. Plus, they're direct flights and you just can't beat that.

It's an amazing deal!! I'm just so glad that I hadn't bought our flights home yet but I guess having a credit wouldn't have been the worst thing ever.

I really want to drive on one of our summer trips next year....

Is that one of the three trips for next year? Or are you already scheming?

I think a trip formed around the idea of relaxation is the perfect opportunity to let go of the plans! And I'm loving the idea of the 45 day countdown! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

LL, I'm slightly worried about you. No planning I can understand, you've had your fill... I get that. But... no lists? Oh, hold on... whew! A new countdown list! Yay! Yippee! Hey, a really cool one too.

I really like your go with the flow approach for this trip. It fits.

I guess that was a list but I didn't consider it a list. I guess I can't completely give up lists then.

Woo Hoo for 45 days!!!! I have 125. I like your new no plans, no lists trip. You really wanted this vacation to be all about relaxing and this will help you to have a relaxing vacation. I can't wait to hear about the contests.

Hurray for 45 days!!! This update made me laugh so hard! Between the I'msickofplanningIdon'twanttomakeanymoredecisions-itis and the threat of cliff-hangers that put a spring in your step, I had a good giggle this morning.

Love the Favorites Lists -- one day I would love to see Fantasmic -- I had played with the idea for seeing it on this trip, but the line for the second show stretched all the way to the end of Sunset Boulevard. No way would we be standing in that line!

Oh, and I have to tell you -- I about 130 pages into Look Again (started it yesterday), and my SIL finished it yesterday -- she said she could not put it down.

Fantasmic is amazing but I agree with you, the line can be craaaaazy. It's a maybe for us in September. We'll see what happens.

I'm so glad you like Look Again. I've read about 7 of her other books now. I love them. They are a lot different from Look Again, they are more like legal thrillers but I love them.

I love Cliffhangers, so Yeah!

I actually think its pretty cool to be in the world but not communicate with anyone (except your DIsmeets ) until you get home.

I love your new laid back style of planning, but I am really curious about your ADR's.

i know what you mean about planning. ive changed my plans for this trip so many time,, im at about my wit's end and joining you in the plan to not plan! im at 57 days and counting and my mom has decided to join me for a few days. im excited she will get to be there for MNSSHP but the changes to my ADR's have sent me into a tailspin!

I just had to laugh at Jess' reference to Titanic (I have a flashback story to share now LOL). When I saw that for the 2nd time in theaters (I may have had a Leo DiCaprio crush going on in High School) my friend and I almost got kicked out during that scene...there is Rose holding on to him telling Jack she'll never let go...and next scene...she drops him in the water...the irony was so not lost on us and we might have laughed inappropriately for about 5 minutes...I blame it on being a teenager LOL!!!

I'm excited for you, and Marc, to just be in the moment on this trip - not to worry about getting somewhere at a specific time, or forgetting to Tweet something funny, or making sure you ride this and that. Just be. Relax. Enjoy each other and the magic!

With that said, I hope I get to meet you! BUT, no pressure, I want you to enjoy your trip rather than be concerned of getting to a certain place for a meet.

Loved your update. The next 45 days will fly by.

I'll never forget the first time I saw VOTM. There was a little girl around 2 who just started screaming when Ursula showed up. She was inconsolable. The mother had to leave the show. Every time we go to an aquarium I want to watch The Little Mermaid again.

Beaut and the Beast is a big family favorite. The first time Danielle saw it she was enthralled and didn't move. I loved watching the expressions on her face. She was 3.

Of your top 6 shows (between the two of you) I have only seen two. Indiana Jones- last time I saw it I was probably in high school and Voices of Liberty. I guess I'm just not a big live action show kind of gal. But I have heard raves about the other shows you've mentioned and shall try to put at least one on my list for the next trip!

How sweet are the two of you to plan contests? As if we don't have enough fun following along. But contests are extra fun!

I think you'll really like the "no plans" touring method. At this point you are expert enough to know you need an ADR for certain restaurants, want to get a FP for Soarin' etc. So why not slow down and just do what you feel like? I always go down with a list of what the Unofficial Guide and TourGuide Mike say are the best/worst parks each day but then play it by ear. I suppose it won't shock anyone if I admit that I am mostly working to accommodate my drinking, dining and suntanning plans.

I have two: I would have to say I love Haunted Mansion -- it's just so creepy cool -- I even love it when the ride stops, and the Ghost Host says, "Playful spirits have interrupted our journey," but I also love The Jungle Cruise -- I never stop laughing about the backside of water and all the other goofy things the boat captain says.
