What PTR from LL would be complete without a few days added on and many, many itinerary versions? Seriously though, I hope you're able to keep those few days on.

I remembered reading about Ariel's Grotto closing and that she was going to be relocated until the Fantasyland expansion was complete. I found this --> You can meet Ariel and Prince Eric in Adventureland starting on May 9th. and this, also starting May 9th --> Mary Poppins and the formerly-rare Bert will be appearing in Fantasyland near the carrousel.

I'm so excited that I can meet Ariel and Prince Eric. Anyone going to Disney from now until I go must go to this character meet and greet and get me pictures!

Some new clothes for your trip sounds like a great idea. I always find that the good sales on summer stuff usually start in June or so. Kohls in particular always seems to be putting tons of stuff on sale about then. You'll deserve some goodies by then!

Great Job on the weight loss! I am in the very early stages of having a lap band. My insurance is requiring the 6 month diet before they will approve it. So, I have been at weight watchers faithfully for the last three weeks and have lost 9 pounds.

We went in September last year and it is such a nice time to go. I can't wait to hear all your plans.

In case someone has not mentioned, Ariel (and supposedly Prince Eric, but I am not sure for how long) is set up at the Adventureland Veranda now. http://sites.google.com/site/wdwcharacterhunt/home/rumors If that holds true for September, I am not sure. I sure hope so because I know my DD is dying to meet her. : (Pardon me if someone already posted this info--I am catching up so I did not read every post).

Thanks on the weight loss. Luckily my insurance didn't require the 6 month diet before surgery. Good luck to you. I had my first appointment on July 6th and I was banded on August 26th so it happened VERY quickly for me. My husband started in July and didn't have his surgery until mid November. Feel free to PM me if you need any advice or encouragement!

They did but thanks for that website! Very neat. I saw on it that Rapunzel is rumored to start character greetings in October, I was hoping to meet her since the movie is coming out soon. Shucks.

I've never heard of Ariel being at CRT. I know that she's more consistently at Akershus, and if someone has already said that, I do apologize for repeating. When I ate at CRT, it was Cinderella for the main photo, and in the dining room, Belle, Snow White, Aurora, and Fairy Godmother. I'm sure the rotation changes, but I think your best bet for Ariel is in Epcot.

Your dates seem great, I love going in September, as you know. I hope that school will be accomodating, and I'm sure you can make up the work.

In the mean time, plan, girl, plan!

Like, the next time I stay at CBR, I'd love to stay in the same village Tink and I were in, because it was so pretty, and a really nice walk to OPR.

Time for another update. I'm trying to distract myself from my nerves about starting school tomorrow. I can't even tell you how much I feel like a 12 year old....stressing over what I'm going to wear tomorrow for class. I'm going to PFFFFFT myself. Plus, I just said goodbye to Marc and I won't see him until Thursday after I get home from class which ends at 10PM. That is a L O N G time. It makes me a bit teary eyed to be honest. Sigh.

So what this all means for you is an UPDATE.

Jackie asked so nicely to see my school supplies so I took a picture for you all to enjoy.

I don't really know what I actually need so I just got a notebook and a new book bag. Isn't it cute? Too bad the front zipper broke as soon as I got it home. It was the only one left in that cute pattern so I sewed it close, I don't want a yucky plain black book bag! I tried to get the zipper back on the track but after 20 minutes it was a lost cause. So I pulled out my needle and thread and sewed it close. I put my pens and highlighters in a different pocket. This kind of thing always happens to me so I've learned to roll with the punches.

I gave Marc his countdown yesterday since it started today. I'm not finished with it but I have enough days finished where I have some time to catch up.

So basically, it gives the days until Disney on the front and then some random fact, musing or trip related information. I think it's turning out pretty darn good. With us not seeing each other everyday for the next few months, Marc will open the countdown each day and then leave it for me. Some of the cards have questions and answers and such so it will be a nice way for us to "stay in touch" and get excited about our trip.

I took this pictures on the sly while Marc was distracted by cooking dinner. Muhahaha. The character pictures you see are from my Disney page a day calendar. I dug them out of my recycling bin at work.

I have to come up with some sort of Disney countdown for this PTR. Usually I have no problem but I've got nothing so far. Hopefully something will come to me.

I'm going to attempt to go to bed now, going to put in a comfort movie "Father of the Bride Part II and try to go to sleep and not worry about tomorrow.

I like the idea of online check in but I'm worried I'll get stuck in Alligator Bayou and until I have a family of 5 I don't want to be out there. I want the pretty mansions! I'm leaning towards the traditional check in so I can bat my eyes and make googly faces at the check in CM who of course in my mind will be a guy.

I really hope I can meet them together. I can't wait. I need to get myself and Ariel tshirt for the occasion I think.

Do you know the story behind Walt coming up with the term "weenie"? I am sure you do since we read the same Disney books. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with his dog always going wild over being offered a hot dog.

A friend loaned me the new Sookie Stackhouse yesterday, but I feel asleep just a few pages in -- I am quite excited about it though.

I didn't realize you couldn't just book the mansions that it is a request. I don't know if I like that. If you don't get the mansions what does your building look like? I'm with TK. I'm "online" for virtually everything but haven't bitten the bullet and tried online check-in. Maybe I just like to try my charm at the front desk... As you suggested, it might be harder for a CM to turn down a sobbing woman in the lobby vs. just saying no via the computer.

But either way you're going to have a great time. The countdown is very cute and creative!
