Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

But I wanted to let you know that there have been MAJOR changes to our itinerary including dates, ADRs and park plans. :scared1:

The new dates mean Disney is a mere 94 days away!!!

Sooooooooooooo..... sorta just wondering what this does to our Meet?? :rolleyes1 Totally hope we're still on!

Awesome on the test score! I hope everything falls into place. :goodvibes

It took me just about all day yesterday to make my new itinerary. I have to say that I :lovestruc it. These plans are very me and Marc, I'm quite happy with how they turned out.

Has anyone checked out the new online dining reservation system? Disney has formatted it differently and I really love it. You can actually see all your reservations on one page in a nice list format. Plus you make one reservation at a time, which I like much better. The searching options are much better as well. Go check it out! I wish I had more ADRs to make just so I could play with it more. :lmao:

I have us going into a park each day of the trip, but for shorter amounts of time. I like this plan. I also have some options built into a few of the days. Technically there is flexibility in everyday except for one because I have a DIS meet planned. I like having that flexibility.

Sunday 8/29
*Fly to Disney
*Check into Riverside
*QS Lunch @ DTD or Riverside
*Pool/Nap
*Magic Kingdom (9-9PM, PM EMH’s)
*Three Things
- Ariel & Prince Eric Meet & Greet
- Haunted Mansion
- Pirates
*QS Dinner
(Or stay at Resort if not feeling a park)

I really like that our first day is a tad more relaxing. I might want to jump in that pool first thing. Or I might want to zoom over to Magic Kingdom. Either way, I like both options. I have a very special shirt to wear (or I will once I receive something from Etsy) for my Ariel meet. So I'm thinking I will want to go into MK this day. Does anyone know how late Ariel does meets?

Monday 8/30
*Epcot (9-9) (Could do MK or No Park)
*Three Things:
*Soarin’
*Spaceship Earth
*Test Track
*Les Chefs @ 12PM
*QS Dinner (Epcot, Riverside, DTD, Resort Hop)

As you can see, more options. If we didn't hit MK the day before, we could do that this day or we could decide to not go to any park at all. I do have another Les Chefs ADR on another Epcot day in case we don't feel like going this day. I'll cancel one while we are down there. If we do head to Epcot, it will be for rope drop and we will probably leave early afternoon soon after our Les Chefs lunch. I'll have an afternoon date with a Riverside pool.

As a side note, Marc went for his six month surgery check up this morning. He is officially down 105lbs!! :woohoo::banana::woohoo:

I am very proud, yet insanely jealous. ;) I still have 34.4lbs to lose before Disney!! :scared1:

Days 1 and 2 look awesome. I'm glad that you are feeling better about the general layout of your trip! Options are so good to have. I need to take another look at my itin. and fill in some options too. You know, in case I'm not feeling the groove of the day.

I LOVE your haircut! It looks so good! I want to cut mine off so badly because it's getting long and it's really thick and heavy, but B/F makes a sad face every time I say I want to chop it off. That and I'm not so good with change.

Your itinerary looks really good! Since you love it I am curious to see if it ends up changing. ;) I love the "three things", too, that's a really good idea. I need to do that for a future trip, it seems like it would make things less overwhelming, and there's less of a chance of being disappointed that you missed something.

Hey LL! I'm generally a lurker on your PTRs/TRs but I thought I'd jump out and say that your Chefs confirmation number is displayed in your post. Not sure if you want to fix that....

Love all your planning and TRs :thumbsup2

Hair is adorable, really like the style, and the new trip plans sound great! Better to be safe than sorry and missing classes can be stressful! new ADRs and itinerary - :thumbsup2 I am sure you made great changes! Looking forward to more! :surfweb:

Congrats on the test score!!

I don't blame you for getting a little bit huffy. It would drive me nuts too. Of course I'm not one to talk, as I haven't officially asked for my days off in October yet myself.

LL, it's dangerous getting behind on your PTRs! Your new haircut looks lovely and I think I'm up to date on your changes...

Congrats on your test scores. :teacher:

Um, dude? POTC is the third thing on your list? :confused3

Just kidding, hon! I'm so excited for you to do that meet and greet with Ariel and Eric, that should be awesome!

Looks like you've got some nice relaxing plans there. Excellent. :thumbsup2

What do you think?

I am joining in!!!! We'll be there from Sept 22nd-29th!!! Sadly, I've never read any of your other TR's, but I've seen you plenty of times on the boards (especially on Jen's TR's!). Time to go back and catch up!!!

I'm all caught up (I'm a fast reader) and I'm now sad you won't be there the same dates as me. Don't worry, I'll still stick around to read all about your plans.

My FIL had the lap band surgery a few years ago and he has lost so much weight. People don't even recognize him anymore.

Great update!! Huge congrats to Marc!!! WOOT!!! That is fantastic that he has lost over 100lbs!!!! THAT IS HUGE!!!!

Love your new plans!!! Yes having flexibility is a must! Can't wait to see your special shirt!!!!!!!!!!
