Relax boys, the belly dancer does not want your singles! 9/2 final update p.87

:rolleyes1 I think that Keith, Tracy, and Jenna have officially dropped out of updating so I am working on Day 6. popcorn::

You SO have to sneak DL in!

Keith just got home this weekend, so maybe he'll do an update soon. But hurry and do yours anyhow cause I love reading them! :goodvibes

:rotfl2:  I was hoping you would post.

I may not be going now. I truly cannot afford the $600 right now for the hotel in Morongo and wouldn't have even thought of going had my friend not offered to share the room. Uh, but she did not ask her fiance how he felt about it so I am waiting to hear back. There are other single girls going but I have not spoken to them in 20+ years so I am not too eager to share a room with them. ;) We are getting some cement work done to the tune of $2,000 and looking for a new-to-us vehicle so July is going to be costly as it is. :guilty: Plus school clothes and Joshua's birthday, and our anniversary, and and and.........

Stupid real life.

So how is your update coming? ;) Where is Jenna?

Jenny check out Wimbledon and you'll see that it's hot over here at the moment :faint:

You will love either hotel! :thumbsup2 I can't wait to see pictures!!! :hyper:

I will definatly share my pictures with you.

Redirect them? :faint: No is not a bad word. Setting clear limits is actually quite healthy. This is why we have a society of rotten kids and even more rotten parents. Kids don't have to be happy 100% of the time. :goodvibes

OMG recipe for disaster or what:sad2:...WTH do these kids do when they get to school and no does actually mean no:scared:

Or get into a life situation where no actually means no?:sad2:

I know my dd is already handful and somedays all I feel like I say to her is no. When they are in circle time if one of the kids acts up they just let them go and do something else. Well what are all those kids going to do whne they get to school. And they wonder what is wrong with society these days.

:scared:Real life is a total bummer isn't it, Big D's snagged himself a new job with exta money but I'm still looking for a new job too (not to pay the bills you understand but to make the holiday fund more healthy and hopefully give us more options for next summer ;):rotfl2:)

Jenny check out Wimbledon and you'll see that it's hot over here at the moment :faint:

Isn't it wonderful Jo:cloud9:, Donny's amazed that my tan is getting deeper by the day...oh the joys of doing your ironing in the back garden in your bikini top:love::rotfl:

HI Everyone !!!!

Hey Rosie, how's tricks:flower3:?

I will definatly share my pictures with you.

That would drive me nuts:bitelip:, my in-laws look after Niamh 2days a week and discipline is not even in their vocabulary:scared:, after they have looked after her she is just a wee jobby and I feel like the Chief of Police until she starts toe-ing the line:headache:, in my opinion children need to be taught boundries and consequencies but then I am a bit of a :maleficen ;) :rotfl:

Alright, I take back my not summery UK comment! :rotfl:

I will definatly share my pictures with you.

Great! And you'll do a trip report? :flower3:

I am assuming that is a rhetorical question. ;) What's wrong is the me me me and more more more attitude. We are going to have a society dominated by self-absorbed, spoiled adults if people don't get their act together!

:cool1: Congrats to Big D! What's he doing? And of course you need a healthy holiday fund! :cloud9: Any new trippie plans we need to know about? popcorn::

::yes:: Boundaries are huge! They are key. I think some people do not realize that their children are now learning the coping skills they will use in adulthood. What works at 5 y/o doesn't pan out so well at 20, ya know?

did I miss anything??

:lmao: No. How was girls' camp?

Donny's still in the building supplies trade but he now Internal Sales manager for a different company (same as he's doing already but with a big wage increase and the actual title to go with the resposibility:banana:)

Tripie update - I have decided to start my packing this week so Donny got the biggest suitcase out and I started laying out all the girls things so that I could check what I needed to get them for the trip, now you may or may not be aware that I've been picking up bargins for them both since last summer and when it was all layed out on my bed :scared1: let's just say all they need is knickers and socks:rolleyes1. I bought myself some shorts and t's yesterday in a UK size12 and guess what....they actually fitted me:yay::cloud9:. I'm going to start washing/ironing/packing the things that don't crease easily. I'm going to change my £ to $ next week as the rate appears to be getting better and I also need to sort out travel insurance. I have been humming and hawing over pre-purchasing the photopass thingy (maybe if I get some dosh for my birthday:scared: I may treat myself:cool1:).

:woohoo: Smaller sizes also rock!!! What is a UK 12 in US sizes? Unless that's too personal to answer?

:rotfl2: I love that you bought so much the girls don't need their older clothes! :thumbsup2 Do not buy the Photopass until after you see the pictures they take. Our Photopass photos this trip were not worth buying, really. There were like 4 good ones so I opted not to purchase. Just a thought.

popcorn:::rolleyes1 I'm guessing everybody's busy with summer activities. I'm just bored here at work.:surfweb:

 I have been a bad DISser! I did leave work early yesterday and am off until Tuesday. I promise my update tonight although it might be just me and you reading it. :rotfl2: Keith and Tracy are at the lake and Jenna is on her way to her inlaws. Not sure where the rest are? :confused3

Hi again I will be checking for the UPDATE tonite when I get home from work!!:thumbsup2

Tricks are just fine Thanks !!:lmao:

I understand, it is a busy weekend, especially with everybody getting ready for the Independence Day festivities. I, unfortunately, have to work tomorrow until 9 pm. Hopefully I'll be able to catch some fireworks after I get off work.

Thank honey, I'm not sure what a UK12 is in US I think it's either a 10 or an 8 (Jo's probably a better person to ask;) )

Thanks for the heads up on the Photopass:thumbsup2, I was considering pre-purchasing because I thought it was cheaper but I may just wait and look at the pics when we get home before making a decision

 I am sorry to say that the update won't be posted tonight. July 3rd around this house is every bit as busy as the winter holiday season! :scared: I am truly sitting for the first time since this morning.

:goodvibes I am sorry you have to work. Here's a DIS firework: pixiedust:

Four weeks???? :woohoo: :yay: :cool1: Awesome!!!!!! You must be beside yourself with excitement! That's right your bday is next week. the BIG 4 Oh!!!!!!!!

so what be goin on up in he-ya?

i've been gone dealing with real life....work and a mother of a toothache. how are you guys?

Just slackin' doll. Sorry about the tooth. Anything fabby planned for manana?

Like I said earlier, July 4th is truly longer and more tiring than Christmas Day! We have to be to the FD by 9:30 so the kids can ride the engine in the parade. Then we are having people over for a BBQ. I bought so much food today. Michael thinks I am insane but I would rather have too much than not enough. I shopped all day and prepped for manana. I still have to clean the powder room but since that's where the newest addition stays when we are not home, I can't really do it until right before our friends arrive. After the BBQ and hopefully lots of drinkies :cloud9: we have about 10 options of where to watch DH's city's fireworks. The best place rocks but it takes like forever to get home due to the traffic. :crazy2:

Happy
July 4th !!!!!
