Rejected Offers Thread

100 points. Still available. Just checked the broker's site. My first thought was: oh that must of sold. But it hasn't. It's still available--not pending. The site is just not effectively sourcing everything.
I've noticed that too. Fidelity has 3 BLT contracts listed at $129, but dvcforless.com is only picking up one of them.

I see 2 BLT contracts at $129 on dvcforless.com but one of them is from a different broker (*******.com).
I think that's the issue... comparing the amount of contracts listed isn't a fair comparison. we are assuming they are all the same, but they're not. there may only be 5 of the 11-12 that are the same, for whatever reason.

Did you see that others on this thread are seeing several listings in the (high) $120s?
The lowest I saw are in the 130s. But I definitely saw a few on the rofr thread accepted as low as $118pp which is causing addonitis pretty bad! For some reason I don’t like stripped contracts and want current UY points. I’m weird like that. I’m still trying and hopefully will have success soon.

I have seen different times that the aggregators go out and scrape the resellers sites. My 2nd BWV this summer dvcsearch found it faster and emailed me quicker than another site I use.... I guess it all depends on timing.
Definitely timing has to play a role, and I'm sure some just don't search as often, or maybe not as in depth (i can imagine some "status" filters might screw it up)

I'm just glad they all exist. 8-)

Just to clarify about aggregator sites. At one time, all were in our boards filters and why they could not be discussed. However, there are several out there now that are not.

Just post a link when discussing. If you know a site is not allowed to be discussed, please do not refer to it in anyway.

"Search" tends to be more reliable than the other one.

Is there a benefit to this? I would think that is a seller gets an offer within 30 minutes of posting, they are more inclined to reject it (assuming it's not too near the ask) thinking they can get more.

This past summer I had dvcsearch email me as soon as an AKV popped up that hit my criteria. It was priced aggressively and I quickly called the broker who put in the offer and called me back about an hour later saying they accepted my slightly lower bid. I think it obviously depends on the seller but getting in first is key for those sellers that are looking to dump a contract ASAP.

I was looking for a particular UY and contract size and dvcsearch emailed me a listing and I put a decent offer in right away went back and forth with the seller 1x and agreed on a price. To me it was 100% a benefit. But I do see where an immediate offer might quell negotiations.

there weren’t enough contracts for sale for June UY so I expanded to aug and sept because those were acceptable for fall and overlapping the winter months for my current Dec UY. For that reason, www.dvcsearch.com was very useful. It also includes how many days on market.
