From when I originally started looking last February it seems that SSR prices are closing the gap price wise with BLT.So while I think countering at higher than list price is ridiculous, I actually think it’s still more reasonable than just not replying at all. They’ve told you that they aren’t getting anywhere near market prices and you’re best to move on to other options.
They are asking you to pay nearly BLT prices for SSR points, good luck with that!
Here is an example from today. These are all the sales excluding foreclosures or other .70 deed tax transactions.

SSR $107, 108 and 115.
In February/March last year if I recall correctly the price difference was close to $40.
