rehire status question

Hi! I'm planning on doing the summer alumni program this year and as far as I know I have a favorable rehire status. However, After my last CP ended (May '09) I went seasonal but was never able to get back to Disney for an adequate time to work and maintain my seasonal status. I'm pretty sure I lost it in May '10.

My question is: If you don't maintain your seasonal status and it just kind of ends...do you have a favorable rehire status? I honestly don't see why it wouldn't be favorable, but I'm paranoid! haha. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You're probably fine.

A No rehire is given to someone who had a more serious infraction that led to their departure from the company. Restricted are issued for less serious reasons (like someone had to leave the program due to personal issues like a death in the family).

If your seasonal status just lapsed, there is no reason your management would have to give you a no or restricted status.

Yeah, I had my interview on Saturday and thankfully everything was fine! It took the interviewer forever when she was checking my rehire status though because the system was slow, so that was a little nerve-wracking! haha. But she continued with the interview and i said "so...i guess the rehire status was fine?" and she said "well, I can't really disclose that information but I'm able to continue with the interview if that tells you anything!" haha. So, whew. I didn't think I had anything to worry about, but it'd be my luck.

If you were restricted or no rehire they tell you at the start of your phone interview. So you're good.
