Can anyone please tell me when the rehearsal is usually scheduled? Is it always the day prior to your ceremony? Is there a time of day they normally hold the rehearsals? I just want to make sure I know when to tell my wedding party they will likely need to arrive at Disney.

I am getting married on a Saturday at 5pm at the Wedding Pavillion if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Rehearsals are usually held the day before the wedding. As to the time, then that usually depends on you. The rehearsals I've been to, usually have dinner after wards.

Good Luck and Congrats! :goodvibes

Our wedding was a Monday morning and we had our rehearsal on Sunday morning - then took everyone out to Cape May Cafe for breakfast. We wanted to do Saturday late afternoon and then go out for dinner but one of my BM was not getting down to Disney until Saturday afternoon.

I am very glad we did not schedule it for Saturday night because her flight was delayed and her and her husband did not get to Disney until 9:00pm Saturday night.

Our wedding is Thursday morning, so we're doing the rehearsal Wednesday. The rehearsal dinner is scheduled for 7pm in Epcot, so the rehearsal is from 5:30 to 6:30. My WP told me that the rehearsal is scheduled after you determine where/when your rehearsal dinner is.

I always assumed it was the day before the wedding, and that's what we got. Our wedding's a Monday @ 2:30 and our rehearsal's going to be the day before @ 3:30. I don't remember anything about there being a time of day they normally hold rehearsals. From the time we were creating our room block, we always told our guests that needed to be at the rehearsal that they needed to arrive Sat., even before we knew for sure the rehearsal was going to be Sunday. HTH! :)

Thanks for the responses!

Now this is probably a stupid question, but do you have your rehearsal at your actual wedding venue?

I guess I was just wondering since there are probably at least a couple brides who have their ceremony in the WP on any given Saturday. What if the day before is a busy wedding day at that location? Would all the rehearsals just occur before the 1st ceremony in the morning?

Obviously, I haven't started any of my planning yet (LOA doesn't come until June), but it seems as though it is safe to assume my rehearsal will be at some point during the day pior to my ceremony.

Thanks again!

Melanie

My rehearsal can't be at my venue. The wedding pavilion is booked for weddings the day before my wedding so we are looking at most likely a ballroom at a resort on the boardwalk so we can walk to our welcome DP afterwards. HTH
