Hello again, just a question for all of my fellow disney world brides. Where did you have your rehearsal? Did anyone have a rehearsal luncheon? If so where did you have it? Any suggestions? We have about 40 people....thanks!

Hi, BethanyMouse. I had an evening rehearsal inside the Wedding Pavilion and I followed that up with a private event at the Grand Floridian Resort. There were somewhere between 25 - 30 guests at my event. Click here to see some photos.

Since you've got a nice-sized crowd, you should ask the FTW folks for a few suggestions. They can help you plan something unique, for example, in one of the convention center ballrooms: Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Coronado Springs, Yacht/Beach Club, or BoardWalk. Or they can help you book one of the resorts' private dining rooms, for example, at the Contemporary Resort or Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I'm sure they'll have a few more suggestions for a party of your size, so please don't hesitate to ask them for help.

Thanks so much for sharing those pictures and your advice. I really like the idea of a private party but I am not sure how much money we can allot for it. Can these parties be during lunch hours. Your pictures were amazing. I loved your themeing and all of your setups. Absolutely beautiful!!!!!

If you are looking for affordable, Raglan Road has private parties menu that range in price from $31.50 to $119 per person.

We ate at Raglan Road for the first time at Thanksgiving. Nice decor and the food and service were very good, service much better than Wolfgang Puck's(geez I'll be planning out my ADR's for Thanksgiving soon :headache: and RR will definately be pencilled in).

I would look into it, as it maybe less expensive than doing a resort event.

I have heard that the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney will also do private parties (they have a separate room for these) and they can create dinner menus starting around $30-35 per person, so I would guess lunch would be cheaper than that. I know someone on here has had their rehearsal dinner there, and they seemed to really enjoy it.

Thanks so much for all of the suggestions. I like the idea of staying semi near the park in case people dont have transportation and need to use disney's. I dont want it to be too chaotic. I have never eaten at RR, we may have to try that this summer. Thanks for all of your input, i really appreciate it!

we did our rehearsal lunch at garden grill in epcot and it was FANTASTIC. we all had such a great time, the price was like 20ish per person and the food was amazing. i highly recommend it!

BethanyMouse, a private event can be held during breakfast, lunch, or dinner hours. The earlier that it is held during the day, the more reasonable the pricing might be. It's something to at least keep in the back of your mind if you find some wiggle room in your budget. ;)
