Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions

Hello All,
I'm a new Disney Bride to the board - just got engaged Jan. 2nd. We love Disney (who doesn't) and plan on getting married there in October 2008.

Any suggestions on places to host the rehearsal dinner?

We're doing the Grand Floridian Cafe. Our rehearsal won't be in the WP as it's booked the entire day before our wedding, so we wanted to make sure that the wedding party was at the GF and could see where everything was before hand. Plus, it's a really nice setting but still casual, and the prices are reasonable. We opted not to do a character meal just based on the feel we wanted for our dinner.

A lot of us, including myself, have had or will have the rehearsal dinner at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. Have you ever been there? The food is all-you-can-eat, served family style. It's delicious! 'Ohana means family so it's a great place for an RD. It is also very affordable, IMHO. Also, if you plan i right, you can see Wishes from the MK during your dinner. The only negative about having your RD at 'Ohana is that your group does not get a private room, you are seated in the restauarant with everyone else. They try to seat you as together as possible.

We want the Wedding Pavilion for the ceremony and the American Rotunda for the reception.

Thanks. This sounds like a good idea as well especially since it's all-you-can-eat. I haven't experienced 'Ohana yet so the RD would be a great time to try it.
