Regular vs. Deluxe Dining Plan

With the Regular plan, at least in the past, you traded in 2 TS credits when u ate at a $$$ restaurant. With this new deluxe plan, since you have TSs allocated for lunch and dinner, could you technically eat at a $$$ restaurant every night while still using the package? Or does it function the way the regular one does.

Essentially, are you given twice the number of TS credits?

on the deluxe plan you get three dinning credits per day. You can use one credit for any one credit TS or any CS on the list. You can use two of the three credits for a signature or 2 credit dinner and you would still have one credit available on that day to use for breakfast or lunch.

I plan to eat at 7 signature meals each of my 7 nights and eat a TS breakfast. We entend to use the two snacks each day betweent the two meals as we get hungry (if we do!)

eta: you can also use more than 3 credits one day and less than 3 another day if you want.

And the credits are per night not per day. You can spread them throughout your stay as you wish. Credits are good from checkin to midnight of your checkout day.

Let me see if I understand this if I am there from Sun - Fri I will get 5 days worth of TS& CS for the 5 nights I am there, but I can still use them on my day of checkout I didn't think so because your card is no good once you check out please correct me if I am wrong I sure hope I could use them on Fri

You can use any remaining credits (meals, TS, CS, snacks) until midnight on the day you check out.

You can still charge to your room as well. They just add whatever extra you charge to your credit card (although this is not on your itemized receipt they slide under your door, of course).

When we were there in January I specifically asked a CM about this - he told me my KTTW was active until midnight - I could continue charging to it and use up the dining credits, I just couldn't enter my room after the check-out time. We had no problems having lunch nor buying a few last-minute items before we left.
