Our children are 2 and 4 years old right now. I am debating on whether we should get the regular pass at $334 or the premium at $434. Right now, our plans are a week visit at the end of August, 4 days at the end of November and a week in March 08. That'll get our $$$ worth for the annual pass for sure!

I recall bringing our eldest when he was 18 months old to one of the waterparks, but I don't know whether it's worth the extra $300 (me, wifey and the 4 year old). Will the kids enjoy the resort pools enough? How about the other features of the PAP - such as Downtown Disney, Disney Interactive, etc.?

Thanks in advance!!!

I think your better off saving your money for a few years and using the resort pools myself. I have two kids 6 & 9 an dthey are probably just ready now for a water park. Pretty much you'll be paying all that money to stand in a need deep kiddie area in the hot sun, they cannot use any of the slides etc. which is geared IMO for kids that are a little older and approaching 48" tall. The resort pools even at the All Stars are plenty fine for kids that age and probably better for you in terms of logistics and then dining. Why make it tuff on you and your family when they wouldn't be able to really enjoy the water park and neither will you and your wife. For over $300 or around there you can do so many other things that would be better suited for children that age like a meal at the castle or even taking a boat ride on one of the lakes perhaps to see the fireworks for that kind of dough. Just my opinion but I would save that money. Plus how many times would you go there or to DisneyQuest?? You get like 3-4 times at each for that money and again I think that would be overkill and a waste of your money. If your set on doing it then go for a single day and see how it goes it will be a lot cheaper and give you a lot more flexability for your money and where to spend it if something or someplace else catches your eye to do. Goodluck either way and enjoy!!:wizard:

Just get the regular. You get your money's worth in 2 trips, so 3 will be even better! Your kids really are too young for Blizzard Beach, etc. It would be a waste.

We did PAP with DD 5 and DS 4 and it was a waste, the DVC pools are fine for their age, the water parks are better with kids 48" and taller.

Agree with all posters above.........we just took our grandson (who will be 6 in Sept.) to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time in May. He loved it, but, there were still quite a few things he couldn't do yet. He did love those slides, tube rides (the ones he was tall enough for) and wave pool, though!!!!

I would stick with the APs right now for kids that age. We just started getting PAPs last year. Our kids are now 12 and 14. They like the waterparks, but some things are still a bit intimidating to them. DS especially enjoys DisneyQuest where DD could take it or leave it. Its a bit of sensory overload, and young kids are probably a bit overwhelmed. Probably by the time your youngest is 8, they will enjoy those things more.

I agree with the other replies. Just wait a few more years. I just bought the premiums yesterday. Our kids are 16, 13 and 8 and we are just now going to try the water parks and Disney Quest on our up and coming Aug. trip.

Is there also either a DVC or AP discount for a daily pass at Blizzard Beach? If so, you might want to try it on your August trip. My kids (DD12 and DD10) like both waterparks, but don't want to go very often because they also enjoy the parks. As a result, we usually get a standard AP and then go to BB about every other year. You need to go a few times to make it pay...

I disagree with the other posters (At least where it comes to the water parks)
We took our 1 year old and our 4 year old to Typhoon Lagoon in May and they loved it! They spent their time in Ketchakiddie creek for over 4 hours and our 4 year old started to tear up when we told her it was time to leave. I would get the regular AP and get the DVC discounted 1 day water park pass. (around $34.00 for adults and cheaper for kids) THis way you can try out the water parks without spending $100.00 per pass. Good luck!
