regrets

I saw a scrapbook I would have loved to buy on our last trip but the line was long and I hate wasting time shopping so I passed it up, thinking I could find one on ebay later. Never could find it. I think I have learned my lesson. If you see something you like... buy it! You may not find it later.

I always regret not getting a Dole Whip Everyday! We usually just get one... then I get home and think dang it should have had another yummy one!!!

I regret not buying more club 33 souveniers because I don't know if ill ever go back!

Missing Fantasmic. Just too tired the first night, and then on our last chance to see it I wasn't feeling well, and went back to the hotel to lay down. Did see a great view of the fireworks from our room though. Still, regret not seeing it the first night when we had the chance (to do the trifecta as well!).

I bought everything, and then some. LOL Even at Club 33, so no regrets there. My husband on the other hand probably regrets me spending so much, and him having to go buy another duffle bag to get it all on the plane home! LOL

We also ate pretty much everything we planned on. From the Tigger Tails, to the chocolate covered strawberries. To eating for the first time at Rancho Del Zocalo (VERY YUMMY!). To eating at the ESPN Zone and the Rainforest, and our Character Breakfast at Lilo and Stitch. Did it all there too! :)

My regret I think is that in the several times I was at DL while the Rocket Rods were running I wound up not getting in line because it was always a 90-120+ minute wait and it really didn't look that great, especially knowing it was running on old tracks that were not meant to have fast cars running on it. That said, I really regret not riding it since now I will never know what it was like. Oh well, just to have it in my mental catalogue would be nice but it's history as is any chance I would have had to ride it!

I also really regret not going for an all night through all morning DL experience when DL had a special promotion in the early 90s where they stayed open for like three days straight. I wish we had gone and just rode Splash over and over as the sun rose. I've done a grad night but that only went until 4:00AM, all night and all day would have ben fun and I doubt they will ever do it again.

Honestly, of course their are things I wish I could have done/experienced. But, I have no regrets. Whatever it was I decided to do instead, or why I decided not to do it, made me happy at one point. And I can live with that.

I regret getting that turkey leg some people raved about.

It was NASTY! :scared:
:rotfl2: Someone should revive the old turkey leg thread! I wasn't a big fan but I was finished off completely when Albort mentioned that one night his manager threw out over 100 turkey legs or something to that effect... the visual I've been unable to recover from!

It's OK, I'll gladly take a Chimichanga, a Chili Dog or a Corn Dog over a future junk yard dog bone anytime!

After 15 years since our last visit, We just returned home on Wednesday from a 3 day trip to DL. (6 since WDW) I regret not paddling the canoes! Whenever we'd pass by the entrance- it was always before 11. By 11 we were usually in DCA and I'd forget to go back before our mid afternoon break.

Other than that, we experienced almost everything! We rode TSM on Sunday during the soft opening. Indiana Jones was open, after the panic of it appearing on the refirb list last week, we considered both a bonus!

My only regret was not having enough room in my stomach for the Dole Whip or Bengal BBQ...among many many other foods...

Good thing we're heading back!! Gotta try different things....well, I'm still going to get another Tigger Tail..YUM!!

By the way...are those Turkey legs that bad? We watched a Travel Channel WDW show that showed them and how they made them...they looked really good! I wouldn't walk around with one, but to sit down and chow...I'd still try it!

regreat not getting the mr potato head pieces this time we will for sure

We like the turkey legs as a cheap & quick source of protein.

I regret not taking the time to get to the hub to watch the fireworks during our last visit. We spent several nights watching them from the hotel & two nights watching them from other spots inside the park, but nothing beats being right by the Walt & Mickey statue.

[I wish DL would offer priority seating for the fireworks like they do for Fantasmic & the Electrical Parade.]

Mostly I regret that we live so far from The Happiest Place on Earth! :wizard:

I regreat not wtaching fireworks or fantasmic or christmas parade (we saw the end tryign to get out) but it was cold and we saw fireworks perfect from room

This is a fun thread!

I regret that although I've been to DL twice, I've never been on Splash Mountain or seen Fantasmic.

My poor, DH could not BELIEVE it!

So, for our first trip to DL together, I know I'll be crossing those off....and hopefully replacing those egregious regrets with a silly regret, like "I regret not, I don't know....not getting a fourth tigger tail, or something." ;)

Seriously?

My guess is that if (and that's a big if) someone offered one for bid, you wouldn't have any problem winning it.

:lmao:

You know, it wouldn't have been that bad if they'd been called Greasy legs. Then I would have been expecting something entirely different.

LOL I've never considered eating one, since they looked so big, and hard to eat. But sounds like I made a good choice for other reasons!

My only regret is not going to the park more often when I lived 15 mins. away. Now that I'm in another state, I kick myself for not going when I had more opportunities. Other than that, I wholeheartedly agree with what dizneekrazee said.
