We often tell them we will use DME when I book, but have no flight info. Often times, we travel separately, so multiple flights, airlines, and arrival times. The Yellow destination tags just indicate to MCO that the bags are going to WDW. They don't really care where they came from.

I would be ok with doing it online but I'm old fashioned and like to speak with a real person so I always call. And if I did it online I would still call closer to my trip to verify.

I would. Give them a flight that corresponds with the time you ant to leave Disney to get your car. Remember, they pick up 3 hours before so say you want to get the car at 4:00. Tell them a flight that leaves about 6:00. That way, they'll schedule you on ME about 3:00.

For going to Disney they want your flight times to predict how many buses will be needed and when. If your plans change a tad or if you want to dilly dally at the airport to grab some food, etc. you do not have to keep DME updated up to the minute of when you will get to the welcoming area.

If you need to adjust your DME ride home it is better to wait until you get to Orlando. But you need to finalize this on or before the morning of the day before the day you will check out.

Haha no worries! Sorry I only just saw this. I remember I was struggling to explain it in the first post I wrote so I was thinking I did invert where I signed up for it hahaha
