I'm sorry I'm so late in posting this everyone, I ended up having to go out of town and didn't have much internet access there.

I brought my package to the post office on Friday, so that should be on it's way!

My package came from Donna - DJT here on the DIS, I believe. My package is from Indiana, and I got:

A pretty light blue Kentucky Derby Festival 2010 t-shirt, which I love
A Indiana University magnet for our magnet collection
Chocolate!! Chocolate covered peanuts and raisins from a local candy company - yummy!
New Albany bulldogs chapstick

something that is the color "yellow"

Donna, Glad you enjoyed the package. Hoping the chocolates didn't melt. One was suppose to the Jacksonville skyline. LOL Hope it didn't turn in to a blob. There chocolate is pretty good I must say. Of course I had to buy myself a few little pieces while I was there

The chocolates had not melted at all. I'm sharing with my DH and I also shared with my DGD6 when she was over for a while last night. I must say, the chocolate is delicious! I can understand that you would buy some for yourself! Wish we could get that kind around here. mmmmm good!

Here's the funny thing--my older brother is a doctor. He did his residency at UNC Hospital. He met his wife there--she went to UNC when Michael Jordan was there! So our whole family has become UNC fans. Which means we don't like Duke! (for those of you who don't know, the Duke-UNC rivalry in college basketball is probably one of the biggest rivalries there is!) So I can never wear the Duke shirt when any of the family is around. And I've had NC BBQ--which to my mind is the finest BBQ in the world. But I've never had Cheerwine--which sounds so good. It's going in the fridge ASAP. My brother doesn't live in NC anymore. I do miss it--simply one of the prettiest places I've ever been.

I had to share a bit of family news, so I quoted myself!

My nephew Joseph is a freshman at William and Mary, but he really wanted to go to UNC. He worked his butt off in high school, but only got on the waiting list. But a few weeks ago, he found out a spot had opened for him. He loves W&M, but decided to follow his heart, and he's going to be going to UNC in the fall! So there is no way I can wear that Duke shirt around him!

You are very welcome! It was so fun shopping for "Boston" things. If I still lived in the historical South End it would have been SO much easier - that part of town is filled with tourist-y type shops. Medford, not so much. Glad you enjoyed!
