***Regional sent/received***.....COMPLETED!!

Got my box from Missy and it is a great box. I got a NY water bottle, I Love NY socks, backpack aand Bear(DD5) has already taken. A disney NY Pin, Tinkerbell keychain. MM NY Pen/pencil set, toy story pencils, A Mr. Met pencilStella D'oro breakfast treats and Nathan's Deli mustard. Ok when I saw it was you I was hoping for my favorite boardwalk food waffle ice cream sandwich but then that would not travel well now would it. :rotfl:

Missy, by the way I was bron in NJ and lived there until I was 8, so I have been to Nathan's I still have a brother and sister that lives up there and my Mom is buried up there. I need your help, I am looking for a restaurant near the theatre district that I went to when I was a kid about 35 years ago it was called Mama Lionias (not sure of the spelling), it was an italian restaurant that we went to after seeing the King and I and I guess they are not longer there because the last several trips I have looked for it and have not been able to find it.

Thanks for you the great package, I love NY. I would love to take my husband there but he will never go with us, he hates crowds.

By the way I am sending an additional package out , I forget to mention that when I posted that the first package when out from the place I ordered it.

I didn't know that! And here I am going on about NY!

I can't find that restaurant, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore.

Lynne: I am glad everything arrived and in one piece. I was worried about the Bone Suckin' sauce. Out of the 3 shirts I got you, I would not wear the UNC shirt, since I am a NCSU fan. Duke I could wear just because my aunt worked there for so long. When you wear the Duke shirt, just tell your family you are going to do some major house work and this is one shirt you don't mind getting dirty:rolleyes1.

That wasn't me...I'm oa big Duke fan-I used to work there! :goodvibes

Now that I'm back downstairs and can use the computer instead of my iPod, I can fill in what was in my package! It was nice to have a surprise after my surgery.

I got a Great American Pie Festival Pie Police shirt. Now, DS13 likes to be a goof and say "I like pie!" a lot. And he really does, so I'm thinking he may sneak this one out of my room. :rotfl: Orange Marmalade, WDW Travel Co balloons and luggage tags, WDW Congratulations pin and DCL lotion, an American Idol plaque from DHS and a monorail co-pilot license.

Thanks again, Barbara!! :flower3:

Glad you are doing better, Lynne.
:rotfl: I had to laugh at that shirt.....very cool and unique.

someone should be getting a package today

The UPS driver just dropped off a package from Alabama, thanks Kim. The nuts look wonderful. I received 3 packages of different kind of nuts from Priester's Pecans. 1 package of Blueberry Nut Crunch, 1 package of Praline Pecans, and 1 package of Double Dipped Chocolate Peanuts. I'm so glad I was home the Chocolate Peanuts was beginning to melt, they needed to be refridgerate. Our weather today is very warm, glad I was able to get them inside before they were all completely melted.

Now how do I keep these from my DH or should I share. I guess I'll share.
Thanks so much Kim.

I always stop at Priesters on my way down to Gulf Shores! Now I want some, but I guess I will have to wait until the end of June.

My package should be delivered today. Sure hope they have kept it cool :scared:

The package you sent came today, Rose Mary, thank you so much!

Here's what I got: honeybell taffy; pad and pen set; Florida toothpick holder; very cute tiny "Florida" bottle with tiny seashells and sand in it (my beach-loving DGD6 is going to want this); Fairies pencils and erasers; Peterbrooke chocolates (my DGD6 is already a chocoholic); Mickey pretzels; cute tiny flipflop notepad; postcards; and Jacksonville Beach t-shirt. Love it all, Rose Mary, thanks so much!

Donna

:yay:

That just leaves one to report mailing, one to report a package that has already arrived and one to receive (the one that needs to be mailed still).

Reminder PM on the way

ooo... That Peterbrooke chocolate is GOOD stuff. :thumbsup2
We have one down the street. LOVE Their caramel and chocolate pretzel rods. They are two for $8. But large and the best I ever had. :thumbsup2
Love their chocolate. Much better than Ghirardelli. Makes theirs seem very bitter.

That Pie Police shirt is pretty cool. DH bought one last year. And I was glad the Pie Fest was last weekend. (In downtown Celebration.) If you watch the Food Network much, you will eventually see they have pie contests taped there.
And they REALLY do have Pie Police! There is a large corralled area where entrants have to pay x- amount to enter. Once inside it is all the pie you can eat from several booths.
It SOUNDS like a good idea at the time. Until you are so pied out you want to puke. :rotfl2:
So A LOT of people try sneaking pie out. The Pie Police do bag and purse checks. It is fun to watch one person after another having pieces of pie confiscated. :lmao:They have to eat it in the corral or toss it before leaving.

That's so funny about the Pie Police! I love it! THanks again. I would love to see someone emptying pie out of their pockets or purse! :rotfl2:

That IS funny about the pie police!

When I opened my package and DH saw the chocolate, he said, "Yum, let's eat some now." :rotfl: We are chocolate lovers but believe it or not, we haven't eaten it yet. We will eat some later and save some for my DGD. I've never had that kind of chocolate before so now I'm eager to try it!

That is funny about the pie police :fotfl:

I still need Kristin to check in with us.....both about mailing and to tell us about the package she received.
