You are killing me with this now!!!! NEVER have I been this excited about somebody else's exchange....but now you have done it!!!!! By Wednesday I will be glued to this puter, so I think maybe you should get it today.....Besides if you leave it at the post office any longer you could be ruuning a huge risk......First, there may be babies in that box....somebody's got to take care of them, second...how far do you think a thimble full of water and one diaper will take you, third, what if they charge you storage....oh the list could go on and on. I am just thinking of you now tigercat, but do what you must. If you need a loan.....let me know!!!

Sorry for making you all wait. Had the grandkids and supper. Almost didn't get time to do this post as I am running late for a meeting. The package did get here but it seems that at the border customs people decided that it was worth get this..........at least $85.00 !!!!!!! Boy did I get a package or what. No little critters (and Pam we were just joking and your package I think has made this post the best ever) but because of the customs decision I had to pay G.S.T. and P.S.T. and a paper charge. I am going to fight it. The lady at the post office told me how to do it. Anyway... the things in it were really great. Well they were anyway. My grandkids took most of it home with them. 2 regular photo albums were put right into their bags, along with some hairbands, a bobble head dog, some really nice feeling burgundy socks, a frog carafe (don't you know it they have frogs as pets) and ate most of the pretzels. I was left with some white pantyhose (which I know my other dd will be taking off my hands as soon as she sees them) a soap holder (we camp and are always buying these things) and some lotion. Again, I think my dd will take off with this. The printer cartridge I don't know about but will give it to my dh and ds to figure out. Oh I forgot some little boxes as well that my grandkids took off with. There was also an inspirational book on finding inner peace. Might take that one to the meeting and see if someone wants it. It seems most of these things came via her MIL. Oh I forgot the picture of her MIL's camera. It really is just a picture of her camera???? That one was really weird. Well this was one great exchange and made even better by the suspense before hand. Thanks Pam.

For everybody else...I think we are wiating on more to be recieved(should be there any day now). And clhcpaca is out of town currently, so I am sure when she returns she will ahve a couple of packages to report on!!! I am glad to see this is jsut about wrapped up....but come January.....there will be another.........right Pam????? Lilboo, you will want to play with us too!!!

The people at the post office here unfortunately have nothing to do with customs. In fact when I told them about what sort of things would be in it they laughed and said that sometimes the custom people don't get it. That's when they showed me how to go back to them and ask for another ruling. They also told me what to keep and photocopy. They were actually very good about it.
