We will be arriving in 2 days and have rented a car we will be traveling from:
MCO to WDW
WDW to Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral to Kennedy Space Center
Kennedy Space Center to Hard Rock Universal
Hard Rock to MCO

My question is the toll booths are most of them manned by a person, do they accept bills or do we need exact change also would it be best to get a SUNPASS and is this something we can get through Alamo?

Thanks in Advance

From MCO to WDW you can pay cash those are manned by people. It use to be $2 total but I think it is a little more now. Take the International Drive exit and just keep going straight on that road, you will be on Disney Property in no time. For WDW to Port Canaveral you need to have quarters. Those are unmanned toll booths. We normally take a roll of quarters with us and it is more then enough. I am pretty sure there are no tolls from Port Canaveral to The Space Center. I think it is the quarter thing from the Space Center to Universal, and then manned booths from Hard Rock to the airport.

It sounds like you are renting a car so I would look into getting a sun pass. It will just be easier.

Pick up a sun pass at either publix/convenience store and load it with about $25. It beats stopping at every toll plaza and paying (the east/west expressway is a nightmare when it comes to tolls) and they are currently converting many of the toll booths to sun pass only/pay by plate.

We've never taken a roll of quarters and always been fine paying cash and getting change. Maybe we took a different road :)

Thank you for the info, 23 days from landing at MCO and had the same questions...can't remember from 2008.
