Does anyone know if there is anyplace in MK (or any of the parks for that matter) where you can make your 24 hour check in for SW?

Or...can you have the check in done at a resort you are not staying at?

I am not sure we will have someone who can do our check in for us, and we currently have dining ressies at Boma, but are considering changing our plans to be in MK that night.

Just curious.

Thanks!

The guest relations locations in any of the theme parks or at DTD, as well as the front desks at any Disney resort will do a SWA check in for you. In addition, you can check in using any Web-enabled cell phone or other device at mobile.southwest.com.

thanks....never actually thought of checking in by cell phone!!

Yep. Works like a charm.

One hint for checking in on a cell phone at Boma, however. My cell reception (Verizon) is terrible inside the lower level of AKL. As a result, you may want to take a break from the table and head outside toward the pool where the cell phone signal seems to be stronger.

You can also have a trusted family member of friend check you in from home and print you boarding pass at the airport when you check your bags.

I checked in last week at City Hall at MK. I've also done it at a resort I wasn't staying at, Downtown Disney.

Not entirely true. I attempted to get a CM at the front desk at the Grand Floridian to check us in for SW flights in October and was told that they only do that for their OWN resort guests. She was such a B*tch about it, too. Not necessarily what I would come to expect from a Disney CM. But there you go!

How RUDE of her..... WE have successfully checked in at the Boardwalk when we were staying at the AKL.
