Regarding pin trading in the parks...

Are you able to trade pins purchased from the disney store at the parks? My dd has a couple dozen pins on her lanyard that were purchased both at the Disney store and at the parks and wants to keep them all on her lanyard. Should the Disney store-bought pins stay home?

yes you can trade the pins from the Disney store at WDW , you might find more information on pin trading over on the collectors forum.....

Any Disney pin can be traded to CM's in the parks They look to make sure they are Disney pins from any place not just WDW.
We took some that we bought from

And traded them. Be careful some of these are good keepers too as we found out after trading one off another CM tould us the ones with a safty pin on the back was rare - needless to say we had that one.

I just bought some pins off ebay - they are disney pins from various movies - lady and the tramp, indiana jones - they all have to safety pin back and I didn't think you could trade those. I was really bummed when I got them - but you are saying you can trade those, correct?
