In this section pdxjolene (I think-sorry if I got that wrong) posted she got a PIN listed below (cut and pasted from her thread):

"This is what the email says:

I'm so excited... We weren't really sure if we could afford to go without a good discount and this is perfect!

I hope you get one too!"

We plan on going during princess: Fall Break which is in the October window NOT covered by her PIN. Does anyone know if this will be the only PIN dates they have out (guessing, I know)? We need a PIN to go, I have put down the deposit 2 days ago with our travel dates 10/15/10/22. Wondering if we need to scale to a lower category resort if our dates won't/might not be covered.

TIA!

I don't want to discourage you, but just because someone else got a PIN does not mean you necessarily will. I go to WDW several times a year and have done everything everyone says to do to generate a PIN (signed up on all the Disney sites, do every survey both in the parks and ones they send after I get home, plan and save trips on the WDW site, call to see if I have PINs assigned to my household, order the maps, order the planning DVDs, etc). I have never received a PIN.

As far as the dates being the same if anymore PINs are sent out. Who knows. Disney sends out PINs and releases codes because they need to fill rooms for certain dates. Our next trip is April 30th-May 2nd and one thing that concerns me is that both the AP Pins that were sent out a few months ago and the current PINs (the one you copied in your post) have those dates blacked out. Anyway, good luck!

I received a pin last year that had October dates blocked starting with Columbus Day, which is our school Fall Break. Why blocked? Probably the same reason why Spring Break dates are blocked out - they know there's more demand for those dates and some will be willing to pay rack rates.
