When someone is being stalked, the police are not always effective at intervening before tragedy occurs. That's where faking an internet death would be convenient/ useful, especially if you had divulged your personal information. I'm talking in general, not about this family in particular.

So now we were stalking someone? Fascinating. Oh but it doesn't have to do with this circumstance.

I didn't say or intend to say that deafmedic and his wife felt threatened by anything or anyone on your board, I was trying to make a more general point, but I guess this isn't the time or place. Sorry you felt so betrayed. I wasn't that close to the situation, didn't remember the accident details, and just shook my head and thought, "another DIS lie." Some of you must have really been hurt.

Gee ya think "some" of us were hurt? We went through the grieving process for a "friend" and two of her children.

Well if someone is really being stalked the stalker will continue to stalk even if you kill off your family on the internet. They are called stalkers, right?

You're not going to find or have an answer to this because it was created by a couple of freakin weirdos. Sometimes, sadly there are no answers to what nuts do. They're nuts so of course you wont be able to make sense out of any of it.

Ideal parents would never even THINK about their child dying and making all that crap up in their mind and then taking the time to type it and continue to type. You would have to have a sick mind to do all that and carry on. Sick sick nuts... ideal parents

Yes, it was them and the rest of the lush ladies and happened wherever they hang out now. Apparently, it was something pulled on them at their own board and they brought it over here. They seem to be the ones reacting so angrily to your suggestions too.

It was originally brought over here after we found out about Lea's "death" because Lea was a poster here as well. If you look at the OP on THIS thread you will see that it was Webmaster Alex. So what exactly do you mean about "brought it here"?

Huh? Where did this come from? I guess I don't understand why you are playing devils advocate for people who you know seriously hurt some people here with the faked deaths?

I just see this as a no brainer. Everyone involved has explained the situation and you continue to act like they are being unreasonable by feeling totally betrayed in this.

Do you have some sort of personal stake in it all or something? Just curious.

I was joking about the not being invited part. One time when the lush ladies were still on the DIS my DH was reading over my shoulder and saw a lush ladies post. He asked me about it and wanted to know why I wasn't one. As if I'm such a party animal. Geez, give me a drink or 2 and I get a migraine.

From my point of view....I find it a sick act, but I didn't know the poster. On the internet, I'm just finding a place to have discussions and learn new things, I don't necessarily get close to people. I feel sad when I hear of tragedies, but I don't feel personally connected.

Does that make any sense?? I'm not making light of the situation...

Well with all the scenerios you keep throwing out there you did mention that stalking would be a good reason to fake the death of yourself and your two kids.

Don't worry, I'm not. Like I said, I'm married to one. I just think it sounds scary that a paramedic would concoct such a story. Almost like a FF who is starts fires to fight them! (And don't worry, DH is also a sane FF so not hurting the FF's feelings!)

I also think it is very strange to play devils advocate and say some of the snide remarks to the LLs that you (momof2inPA) have on this thread. I think it is something more personal. That's be my guess. Things that make you go hmm...
