I'm now trying the dark avery transfer sheets and I have a few questions for some1 who is so kind and willing to help me. #1Do I have to cut the image out like I did with the light transfer sheets?#2 Once i have my image printed out it says to peel off the paper backing. it says to put image on shirt facing up. So the image i printed should be facing me? Correct? Thanks

Yes, you should cut the image out. Any white parts lefy showing on the transfer will be white on the shirt.

After you peel the back off (which is a pain in the neck) you lay it face up on the shirt. You should see it exactly as you want it to look and then iron it on.

It's funny, I just did my first shirt and it was really easy. I then tried to do the dark and did not read the instructions properly. Easy to say I mess it up!

Dark t shirts
1) DO NOT reverse the image
2) Cut out the image without a margin
3) lay it out and cover it with the tissue that was enclosed in the package
4) iron it on...

When i printed the image out it looked great. After ironing it the colors, especially the dark colors, on the image got weird. Kind of faded and blotchy, y is that? Can I print out another image and iron it over the 1st faded image? will that work?

sounds like perhaps you didn't iron long/hot enough? If you iron longer, does the image get sharper? Check out this photo - I didn't iron long enough - see where the black Mickey head is kinda grayish?

I decided to put the parchment paper back over the design and iron some more - Somewhat different design but here's what it looked like after I re-did it -

why not try that first before using another iron on on top of the first one!

Off topic but did you attach a real ribbon to your Minnie design? That looks so cute- how did you do it?
