Regal Eagle made me sad.

I honestly cannot think of any place with worse brisket than Regal Eagle.
You haven’t had mine……🙄 I’ve cooked three, all flats because that’s all I can ever get around here, and they were all terrible. I chopped the last one up and made some pretty killer beef stew though. Told my family they were eating $15 per bowl stew LOL I guess I’ll stick with pork and just have brisket when I’m in TX.

I got the mixed plate and nothing blew me away. I will stick to BBQ back home.

Hubby and in-laws tried it in March. 2 of them tried brisket sandwich and didn't like it at all. He said REgal Eagle is a one and done. Although maybe need to try the chicken? I want to just try Polite Pig if we 're choosing BBQ, but we're in middle TN, and get good BBQ all the time here, 3-4 great places w/in 15 miles, so no need to see out when in WDW.

I may give it a shot but I'd frankly be surprised if it was particularly good. Good bbq takes time and patience and Disney QS isn't really made for that. Oh, and I thought the fish and chips in England (from the QS place) was super greasy and not good. We tried it a couple of times before giving up.

A stand alone flat is one of the hardest things to smoke.

Man, I wish I could find some! We haven't lived in TX in 15 years so the BBQ restaurant is the first stop when the plane lands there. I've been burned too many times to even bother trying anymore.
If you are ever in Southern California, there are a few places, although our favorite closed when the owner retired a couple of years ago.

I found Regal Eagle to be delicious! Absolutely loved every thing I've had from there. And I lived in Texas for a while and have had good BBQ all over the country.
