Refund Time Frame from Disney

Hi All:

Can anyone tell me their experience with refunds on room only reservations? How long does it take to go back on a credit card? I canceled my reservation on Thursday.

Refunds are issued in 1-2 business days. Now when it shows up on your account is dependent on your bank or CC company.

I have a Disney Visa. Usually I get refunds quickly from other companies. Hopefully I get it this week!

I think I am just nervous because they didn't send me any kind of cancellation confirmation.

I recently had to cancel and thought I put it on my Disney Visa (but didn't)-it was still refunded (on the card I realized I used) within 3 business days but if you ask them they will tell you it can take up to 30 business days (but it usually does not)- Disney Res didn't send me any type of cancellation other than the one I did myself when I canceled online (and made a copy of).

You should see it within the next day or so, since you had the weekend in between which isn't considered "business days".

I always pay via debit card, & get my money back into my account within 2 or 3 business days.

I never did receive an email confirmation. That's what had me concerned!

I just got back the 200.00 credit to my credit card from my original ressie but there is also 3 more additional 200.00 debits? All with same confirmation number. On hold now to see what it is but I'm assuming it will drop off. Hopefully.

Glad you got it back so quickly! I've canceled rooms a million times with Disney and I have to say, they are excellent at putting it back on the credit card and quickly. Other hotel companies are terrible in comparison.

Thats weird. I just got refunded part of my original reservation to my debit card, now waiting for the rest to go on my credit card.

This is currently happening to me. I had a trip booked, then I booked a new trip very quickly with free dining, then after thinking it over, decided to cancel that one and keep the original. So I cancelled on Tuesday morning and I never received an email confirmation and I haven't seen a refund yet. I know it's only been 2 days, but I was worried about not getting the email. Looks like I should just give them more time. Thanks for the post and easing my mind!
