Refund on tickets

I always plan for the worst and hope for the best, with that being said, I noticed that if I buy my park tickets through undercover tourist there is a no refund policy. What if I buy my park tickets directly from the universal site? Can they be refunded if something happens that we don't go?
 
I believe just about every theme park ticket has a no refunds and no transfers policy. Now, that doesn't mean you can't try to contact Guest Services and relay to them any extenuating circumstances that might have prevented you from going, but there is no guarantee as far as I know.

There actually is a refund/return policy for Undercover Tourist.

There are however certain ticket offers that are non-refundable and they are actually pointed out that way for example:

There are exclusions on their return policy here is some information which is available on their site under the FAQs. The eligible items for a refund/return will say so when you are purchasing them. For example Disney e-tickets are not refundable as noted below.
