Refills free on refillable mugs?

Can someone explain...do you get a discount on the refills, or are the refills free? Can you only use them at specific places? (Like a BWV mug can only be "refilled" at one location at BWV?)

The mugs T VW/WL is to be refilled at Roaring Forks at WL. The All Star mugs are suppose to be refilled at the All Star resort they were bought at but they usually don't say anything if you have a sports mug and refill at music. The refilles at above 2 aree free. The BW ones I don't know about. They do not have refillabe mugs at OKW. I hope this helps.

BW mugs are also refillable for free at the BW bakery and LHL at LP pool.

Your information is a little incorrect.
Here is the "skinny" on mugs.




Most of the WDW Resorts have a "Refillable Mug" program in their food court area (aka Fast Food-Counter Service). You purchase a mug for around $9.00 and are entitled to "free" or less expensive (79 cents usually) refills for the duration of your stay. The refills are available from the beverage dispensers and usually include: coffee, sodas, ice tea, and hot chocolate. No other purchase is required to get your mug or your refills.
The mugs have the hotel logo on them and signs state that they are for use at that hotel. There does not seem to be a policy about reusing your mugs on a subsequent trip (see Guest comments below).

For an avid coffee or soda drinker, especially with the 'free' refills, you can't beat it.

The table below outlines the refillable mugs available at the resorts and the purchase as well as refill price. Be sure to add 6% tax to the purchase price.

In January we paid 9.95 for the Boardwalk mugs at the Boardwalk Bakery--refills were free. DH went for coffee every morning and we more than paid for them during the trip. Glad to know they can also be refilled at the pool--I didn't know that.

I was not near the pool when it was open to know if you can refill them there. I just know that the sign inside said you can refill forever and the price was the same for both in Nov. I feel we got our money's worth last time and I plan on using them again this year in Dec. Hope to see everyone at DIScon.

well, as with most things, times change, it was recently posted that the mugs are not forever, and this was a direct quote from a Disney Cast Member.
Also, at OKW (where someone said there were no refillables, and there always has been) they were doing a promo for 9.99 and all refills for free, not sure how long that will last.
They seem to change pricing a lot, and if you notice, the dates were as of the latest info available.
Feel free to contact the source and correct so she will beup to date.

Gald to hear OKW has refilable mugs. I was disapointed when I started reading the thread. Now I am releaved.

Inless they change the pictures on the mugs there is no way for them not to be refillable forever. Even then I hear most people don't care if you use mugs from other resort. I have never tried this myself. I like to collect the mugs and get them at each resort.
