Refills available for Freestyle and water bottles?

Hi all,

Planning our first trip at the end of September and getting very excited. One quick question: we like to bring our own water bottles and refill them with ice and water. Is this still an option during COVID? I know many places are making you get a new cup for drink machines and have closed down drinking fountains (though Florida water is so bad we tend to only drink the filtered stuff).

Same question with Coke freestyle cups. Is that still a thing? Might be nice to grab one to share, but wasn't sure if they were still allowing them.

Basically I am a total weakling about the heat and humidity and need to sip something cool at all times, so any suggestions on how to make that happen are much appreciated!

Huge thanks to everyone on this board! You guys have made planning so stress free!

Not sure on the water but Freestyle cups are definitely still a thing. You can either fill them yourself at the machines or if you get a refill at a stand, they will give you a drink in a disposable cup.

Freestyle is selfserve but you must have an activated cup- no free water. Free water elsewhere is given in a new cup each time. Extremely wasteful. There aren’t any bottle refill stations, just fountains.

What I used to do is bring my own water bottle and fill it with ice from the freestyle machines (you don't need a special cup just to get ice), then ask for some water at any quick service location for free and add that to my bottle (or use a water fountain if there were too many people in line).
