Refillable popcorn bucket:-)

Just read about refillable popcorn buckets, beginning June 26th ($10 initial cost / $1.50 same day refills). I am hoping this is also for the flavoured popcorn in Epcot! Oldest DD always picks popcorn as a snack at Disney and we always use the container at home afterwards. Hoping that someone tries this out on the 26th and reports back. Thinking you could snack on the popcorn during the day and fill up when you leave the park. It says it will be available in all 4 parks

I hope they end up doing it the way Tokyo Disney does it, popcorn buckets are insane there. 30 min lines to get collectible buckets (not cheap) then cheap refills forever you just bring it back. It's part of the fun.

We have something similar at Disneyland, but it's for annual passholders and the bucket can be refilled until the end of the summer. I hope it's the same!

I think this is a great option for families. We have a teenager who can eat us out of house and home! Having the option for $1.50 refills the same day is great. I'll put the bucket in one of our back packs until we're ready to refill and then we will have a snack with us at all times! We can refill it before we head back to the resort for our break and at night if necessary as well.

Just been reading about these on Disney site..Will definately be getting one as we leave the park heading back to our resort..And when we get back home to Scotland it will make a super ice bucket..With mickey shaped ice cubes of course..

As mentioned, they have a refillable popcorn bucket for Annual Passholders at Disneyland. My family bought one of those and it's surprising how much popcorn we ate in a day. We refilled it several times per day and even bought a few refill at the end of the day and transferred the popcorn into a gallon Ziploc bag so it would stay fresh for a few more days (made a great munching snack on our drive home).

I was thinking the same thing! you've REALLY got to LOVE popcorn to eat it more than once in a day.

I love this!! It is DH's very favorite snack and he really could eat it all day long. AND he loves the buckets. Hoping this cuts down on the number I have to pack to bring home. He has quite a collection!

This is great for our family of 4. We have two kids who will eat a bucket each. And I love Disney popcorn. We also have a stroller with a mommy clip to attach it. I can see us getting our money's worth.

So popcorn cost is $4.00, right? Looks like you start saving money on bucket #4 (I think--math is hard).

DH and I can eat A LOT of popcorn. It's almost embarrassing. When we go to the movies, we get the big tub of popcorn that comes with a free refill and we usually get through the initial tub by the time the previews are over and then one of us has to run out to the lobby and get our refill before the actual movie starts! I'm pretty sure we'll be able to make this worthwhile!

Does anyone know if you'll be able to park hop with the refillable bucket? For example, if we buy it in MK in the morning, can we get refills at Epcot later that evening? mmmmm...popcorn...

We love popcorn. We have it once during the parade at MK and then we do the flavored popcorn at EPCOT. It's amazing, but I'd much rather spend my time (and stomach room) with other snacks at Disney. I can't see doing the bucket for one day. If it was offered for an entire trip (say, $20 for 5 or 6 days and they track it the way they do the mugs) then it'd be totally worth it for us!
