Refillable mugs without the handle?

Is there any version of the dining plan refillable mug that comes without the handle as an option? Or is there a way to remove the handle? I would like to be able to use it in the parks as a water bottle but it seems like the handle will make it very difficult to fit into a reasonable sized purse/bag.

I am here now and haven't seen one anywhere without a handle. They are not removable IMO but you could always try. I am not a fan of the white handle, they look cheap and when you remove the lids of several together to top up, you don't know which cup belonged to which lid

There is no version that doesn’t have the handle. They had those for a couple months last year at this time. Then the white handles came out.
