Refillable Mugs starting at BCV then VB

So sorry if this is a bad place to ask this but we are about to do a BCV to Disney Cruise to VB vacation in July, my 16 year old daughter keeps on wanting to get the good old refillable mugs, the thing is I don't know/think that I can get a mug at BCV, and then still use them after the cruise at VB? If anyone knows the answer please share.

I think they are good for 14 days, so if your BC + cruise +VB stay is less than that you should be okay.

I agree with BillPA, but you might also ask your question over on the Restaurant board and get more replies, since the mugs aren't a DVC exclusive.

If you ever listened to the Backside of Magic Podcast, one of the hosts, Jeremy, goes into detail about his experiences trying to get extra days added to his mug. Apparently cast members can do this when they activate the mug if they know how and if they are willing. I think he got up to something like 6 weeks added once, it was crazy. Anyway, they are good for 14 days by default but if you ask nicely and explain what you are up to, a cast member might be willing to add some extra time on. I think it has to be done during mug activation though.
