Nice one! I may have to keep that one. :wizard:

If everyone were as good as the folks claim to be here on the DisBoards, the world would be a different place, perfect even. And if the people on the DisBoards were as good as they claim to be, we'd have no need for refillable mug or pool hopping debates.

If the rules of dis society were based on some sense of shared moral values, you would be correct. But on the DIS right and wrong is decided by the collective view of what the group has decided is right or wrong or by a collective interpretation of disney's rules. Since neither Disney rule's or the DIS view of them will ever be perfect, I guess we will continue to have these debates.

People will flame me on this I am sure. I am an honest person, when I went to the grocery store and bought three cases of pop, and they didn't charge me for it, I went back in and payed...

However, pop is CHEAP, there are parks out there that give it away completely free, Holiday World, Lake Compounce and Kiddieland in Chicago all do this. Reasoning is, is that its good customer service and it costs them virtually nothing.

I do re-use mugs, because I have over TWENTY of them, I have SIX from Wilderness Lodge, FOUR from POP Century, Coronado Springs, All Stars, Port Orleans, etc. I will use only the mug from the resort I am staying at, will replace very old mugs that are starting to wear, but the way I look at it, I bought them under the policy of re-use (not a single one says ANYTHING about only for the duration of the stay I checked) and I don't feel bad.

Plus I agree with the poster who says when your pointing fingers you have three pointed right back at you.

How can you tell how old people are by their posts? Just curious.
I vowed I would not reply and enter the "refillable mug debate" but that comment made me curious.
Just for the record, the mug policy that I follow is this: if when I bought the mug, I was told it was reusable (according to CM's that I bought it from and no formal policy contradicting) I reuse it (if I remember to bring it!) but if I bought it after the policy change and the mugs say "length of stay only", I don't reuse it except for coffee at my desk at work! But I sure don't get in a snit over what others choose to do. And also for the record, I'm middle-aged.

You can tell a lot about people from their posts. For one I looked at the pictures posted in their Signatures, I also looked at some of their posts on other topics, I used all of this info to tell their general age. I'm talking generations here, not exact age.

Okay everyone. Time for this week's edition of "The Refillable Mug Debate" to end. Stay tuned to this board for another edition to show up soon! ;)
