My DH and I are so very excited to visiting WDW for the first time with our kids (DD9, DD6 and DS2). We are staying in POR and plan to buy the refillable mugs. I'm wondering if milk is included in the deal. My kids drink A LOT of milk! I thought I could bring along some Carnation instant breakfast as well. Also, what other beverages, other than coffee and soda, are available in the mug deal?

Any info is much appreciated!

Thanks!!!

No, milk isn't included.
Most of the time it's just soda, coffee, tea and at PopCentury we were happy to find applejuice.

hot chocolate is included though. Combined with a poptart and a good hot iron-for warming- will take you right back to college days!

The funny thing is I bought eight boxes of PopTarts at Acme for ten dollars this week! I never buy those things but since it was such a good sale I let my kids pick out the kind they wanted. Much different than when I was young...Cookies and Cream Poptarts, Chocolate Sundae Poptarts, Strawberry Milkshake Poptarts, S'Mores, Chocolate Caramel Poptarts. HMMM. Part of a nutritious breakfast??? Apparently, it will be a part of our is WDW! LOL...

We are 5 , too--you'll love POR! No, milk isn't included, but there is a fridge in the room. I think you can buy milk in larger containers at the general store that's there. I'm sure someone else will come along to tell me I"m wrong if you can't! :flower:

I mix the hot chocolate with the 1/2 and 1/2 for the coffee for the kids!
I like the iron for the poptarts idea!!!!

Glad to hear I can buy milk in the general store. We are flying in and then using the ME so we will not have access to a car. We do have the DP though so I don't feel so bad about not being able to grocery shop...

The milk is right around $2.99 for a 1/2 gallon...My son drinks alot too!!! I usually budget for 3 of them (at least) for the week we are there--just for the room.

Okay, 2.99 for a half gallon is pricey but definitely worth the convenience. I want to be able to get out early and not have to worry about stopping for a long breakfast (except, of course, when we have scheduled a breakfast!) We are on the dining plan and I am hoping that goes smoothly. It seems to be a really hot topic on these boards of late! Thanks for the info!!!!

This might sound silly...but are there any healthy drinks included? Really, my kids aren't going to need more sugar! Thanks!

They might have PowerAde. But only one flavor.

If you consider water, lemonade, and apple juice healthy then yes.
