We are taking our first trip to Disneyland next next month. We are APs at World, but our teen has been begging to head out west.

We are going to split the trip between DL and Universal. I looked at adding the ground transportation from LAX to Pixar, but it looks like it’s round trip and that won’t work since we will be moving halfway through the trip.

Is there a service that we can book from LAX to Pixar that’s just one way? Or would something like Uber be our best option?

Any other tips for newbies are also welcome! Thanks!

You can definitely use Uber or Lyft in this case. Just prepare to cough up a pretty penny at peak time…

Midwilshuttle has been my family's go-to shuttle for Disneyland trips. Uber or Lyft will almost certainly be cheaper, but compared to other shuttle companies in the area, they're very competitively priced and have always been very reliable. We've done one-ways and round trips arriving and departing from different airports, and everything has always gone very smoothly.

I am not the expert at all on this, but I think if you take Uber/Lyft, you have to take a shuttle offsite of the airport to pick up the ride. I think shuttle services like those above can pick you up at the terminal. So definitely check on that if you will have a lot of luggage or mobility issues getting to the offsite Uber/Lyft pick up.

We usually fly into SNA, and we have used Lansky’s with very good results. They will do a grocery stop as well.

Thank you! We are super excited! I actually just moved us to DLH. I’m so used to knowing what I’m doing with these trips, this is definitely new territory for me.

I’m terrified of flying, which is why we haven’t gone before. We can drive to World in ~9 hours.

Yes. You have to take a shuttle to the rideshare area. We actually have a video on that.

Diamond driver guy also does a grocery stop! I forgot to mention that.
