I was thinking about bringing my mug from home to renew and purchasing one for my son as part of a gift basket I am making him for our arrival and I was wondering, can these be filled at any of the trading posts? Where are the refill stations, if not?

Hi! You can refill them at Trails end by the take out counter and the meadow trading post. They were 17.99 in June when we went.

You should be able to find all the answers to any question you've ever had about a refillable mug here! Including where to fill it :cool1:

Thanks, but that thread is out of date and I'm still not sure where the refill stations are.

There are 3
1. Trail's End By the marina
2. Meadow Trading Post
3. pool snack bar

Just to let you know that your old cup cannot be used as it needs the chip that that are in the new cups that are only good for length of stay.:confused3

You can buy a few days on the mug for less than a length of stay mug but cannot have the chip removed or deactivated for less money. WDW also has a lot of mugs than are not refillable ones for sale at the trading posts and all Disney stores and online at www.disneyshopping.com

Yeah, mine has the chip in it. I purchased it in May.

Just realized auto correct changed my re-activate to deactivate.
We have the new mugs from last trip so my question is..
Can you get them re-activated for cheaper than buying new mugs for next trip?

I haven't heard of that yet. Hopefully they will be more interested in recycling than $.

Nope. It still costs me $17.99 for a length of stay. It's just I don't need another mug so I prefer to just reuse mine.

Ok, I know I can't refill my Ft. Wilderness refillable mug from 2005 anymore.

However, why couldn't you buy a new mug with the chip use it for one trip and come back for trip 2 and re-activate it?

I know Mickey wants us to buy another mug each trip.
