Every time we come back from Disney, we return with 3 more refillable mugs to add to our collection. I don't want to throw them out but what the heck do I do with all these mugs??

I know that there’s a pay it forward bin that gets passed from dis-er to dis-er at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and I know I’ve seen people post that they’re leaving strollers for the taking when they don’t want to schlep them on the plane home.

Speaking for myself, we don’t drink enough soda to make buying mugs really worth it, but I know my kids love the look of the resort mugs for their water.

I can see why it would be too many mugs if everyone in your party gets one. Our last 2 trips to WDW they had the same mugs with different color handles- so we ended up with 6 of them. I kept 2 from our first trip and left the rest at the food court at Pop.

Like others have mentioned you could sell them, but I don't think you'd get much for them.

They are my favorite souvenir! We have tons of different ones and use them every day at home. Most of ours are from DLR since they release several different travel mugs every season/holiday/celebration.

I don’t think there’s much of a market for them unless you have some super limited design, and shipping is a pain for bulky items like mugs. I’ve seen basic ones for $0.50 at Goodwill.

I like them and use them frequently, but if your whole family is on the dining plan, and you’ve made a few trips, they can add up. How much storage does your kitchen have?

And, a bit off topic, but did you know you can buy handles for Tervis mugs? At Bed, Bath, and Beyond I saw a section of Tervis handles that you can add to your existing mug (they slip on and go around snugly, so you can take them off to wash). They even make them for the really big mugs. Adds a whole new level of functionality for us handle-lovers!

In the past, I have left them in the laundry room with a sign that says good until... this last time my kids were crying and not wanting to leave so we had hot chocolate. I didn’t want to be the crazy lady in the airport asking if people needed mugs!!!,,,

My fiance won't use hers once we get home. She has them on a shelf to look at. I use my mugs all the time. My son and I have 5 in the cabinet so we don't have a ton of them but even if we did, I would save them.

I'm one of those "in the trash" people. I don't think they are overly nice or anything and I prefer not to spend a lot of time drinking out of plastic mugs. I mean, I will, but not on a regular basis. I also have been the recipient of "collectibles" from older relatives who have passed on. I don't think my kids will want to inherit 30 plastic mugs in 20 years. But, I could be wrong.

If I bring them home from a trip, old ones get recycled. I currently have 4 (two at home and two at cabin) and I'm about to pare that down to one in each place. I have no use for them once I get home.

We will probably include a handful of our duplicated mugs in our next Goodwill dropoff.

We keep one and only one of each new design-have several really cool ones from when every Resort had their "own" Mug.

We literally have about 50 mugs, family of 5 Dining plan twice a year for a real long time.... We keep about 20 of them in our backyard by our pool and my sons and their friends use them.... they love them !!!

I don't have bottled water at my house (I try to limit plastic), so when someone wants water to go, I use one of the mugs and send it off with my guest. Most people actually keep the mugs and use them.

Have you successfully sold mugs on eBay? It seems like the shipping is sometimes more expensive than the sale price, and I see fairly cheap lots just sitting there. Plus there's the seller fees to eBay and PayPal, further reducing profit. I imagine cheap bulky-to-ship items wouldn't be a good money maker, but as I've never sold on eBay, so I don't really know. If you've sold mugs before, would you say it's worth the time an energy involved? As a newbie, I worry I'd invest a lot of time and effort, and only make a couple of bucks.

Umm they are perfect to put cold drinks in,slushies, for a backyard picnic or day at the beach

Okay, please don't think I'm exaggerating...we just hit over 100 mugs!!! A few months ago we had pretty much decided to keep one of each design and donate the rest, but then realized we were about 3 mugs away from 100 and had to wait until we hit that ridiculous number!!! We just came back from AKL and this put us over the top. Crazy, yes...but we do use at least a couple of them every day haha!!!!
