What is the minimum wait time between refills on the refillable mugs?

I'd love to hear post reopening thoughts on the refill mugs. They used to be a trip tradition for us, but with having the CMs get you cups to pour into the refill, seems like it would be less convenient to the point of not bothering. Anyone who's been have good or bad thoughts/experiences?

It's not bad at all. You show the cast me!bet your mug and tell him what beverage you would like. The cast member fills a cup and hands it to you. It was definitely still worth it to us. We stayed 11 nights and the few minutes we waited for refills was minimal. ( The price of one soft drink - 20 oz bottle at Disney is $4.99. The mug is $18.99 plus tax)

We're only going to be there for 5 nights and only drink coffee. The math is a little closer to breaking even. But that being said, it's one of our favorite types of souvenirs; something useful you can use a lot at home. Glad to hear the wait time was minimal. That's been one of my biggest gripes, aside from masks, in our COVID world that you can't just go and do the stuff we used to do. It's not just WDW, it's everywhere so certainly not going to stop me from taking a well earned and deserved vacation!

I got 1 last trip just for morning coffee. I usually drink one or 2 cups every morning. They gave me 2 cups when I went in the morning foe my coffee so I didn’t have to go back and get another cup. I never had to wait long or even at all for a refill.

We've gone twice and honestly like it better because there's no cleaning the mugs. I will say at AKL it was kinda a pain just because there was always a wait, but we stayed at the Poly the month earlier and we used it a lot min to no waits.

I liked it better than before. You could just show your receipt if you don't want to drag along the mug all day, and no cleaning the mugs. I never had to wait more than a person or two (which I've had to wait pre-pandemic too). The staff was great. We certainly felt it was worth it to buy mugs, but we do drink a lot of soda, coffee, and Powerade over the week.
