Refillable Mug Questions

WE are going to the Beach Club this month and from what I have read on these message boards, it really is not an advantage to get a refillable mug from the Beach Club because of the difficulty of getting refills, and also because you get charged each time you do get a refill. Is this a reasonable assumption?

We have a refillable mug from Coronado Springs from two years ago, can it be used at the Beach Club this year? I would think that you probably could not use it, but I thought I would ask.

Have they changed the conditions on the refillable mug program? I remember that when we got our mug at Coronado Springs two years ago we did not pay for refills. Has this changed there also, or is charging for refills the policy for only the Beach Club?

Refillable mugs are only good for your current stay at the resort. You cannot use a mug from one resort at another, unless it is a sister resort, such as All Stars Sports and All Stars Music or Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter. There is no additional charge when you get refills at the BC/YC/BCV. You get refills at Hurricane Hannah's or Beaches and Cream.

There are a few resorts that where refills cost extra, but the original mug was less expensive. OKW is one of these.

Some CMs may refill an old mug or a mug from another resort, but Disney policy is current stay only for the resort specified.

There is no self-service refill although the refills are free.
