Refillable Mug on QSDP at resort without meal

This is kind of a weird question. But we will be arriving at Pop in the late afternoon and have plans to just go to DTD after checkin. We'd like to go ahead and get our mugs, but thought about eating in DTD instead of at the resort that first night.

Can we get our mugs with our free QSDP, without using our CS credits for a meal? Do we just pick them out and go up to the cashier? Or are we required to get a meal?

The refillable mug will be listed on your KTTW cardsas a component of your dining plan. You can go to the food court or one of the places where the mugs can be refilled, pick up your mugs and go to the cashier. She will scan your KTTW cards and you'll be good to go. You do not need to fill them or purchase any food.

Sure you can We do this every year because we usually arrive at our resort in the evening. We go collect our mugs from the foodcourt, drop them off in the room and head to DTD for dinner and some shopping. We are usually back too late to get into the foodcourt and it's nice to have them so that we don't have to worry about collecting them when in desperate need of coffee the next morning
