Arrived August 10th- only red or blue mugs with handles. Visited AoA on the 12th (Friday)- same thing. On Saturday, they had an assortment of MUGS WITHOUT HANDLES, lots of colors. They let me exchange the handle one for a purple handle free one I am at POR

All four colors are out without handles at Kidani.

Two days too late for us.

We will be there this week and I wasn't sure if I was hoping for mugs with handles in only one or two colors or the handle less mugs in four colors (since we are a party of five)..... I think I'm hoping for the handle less in an assortment of colors at this point..... We will be checking into the BC in less than two days!!!!

I'm wondering if the old lids fit the mugs without handles. Are they the same size?

If so, maybe some that need different colors can bring different lids that they may already have.

They are the same size. They have alot of colors now (Blue, Purple, Green, Red) at Pop and I'm assuming elsewhere. When I talked to one of the managers they are already getting alot of complaining about the switch. They say they can't do anything about it (the manager I talked to was already calling around to look for handled mugs for people so I added my name to the list) but those unhappy should continue to complain and leave feedback.

Thanks for the report from Pop. We arrive in 38 days. So Pop does not have any of the handled ones left?

We checked in at the Lodge early last week, they had mugs with handles, blue and red. Middle of the week, the handled mugs were gone and they had 2 colors (not blue and red, orange and purple maybe?) without handles. Friday we were in Roaring Forks and they had the blue and red handles mugs back, and the handle-less mugs were gone...

Has anyone heard of the mugs lasting beyond 14 days? There has been a podcast report of someone's not expiring for 28 days.

Mugs are valid for length of day, which is 14 days by default and can be extended by a further 14 days if they scna your magicband and find you are staying longer.

Thanks. So maybe if you asked nicely without even a scan the CM would extend that 2nd set of 14 days? Can the CM do anything more granular that just operating in 14-day increments?

As the mug is sold as length of stay I doubt they will extend it further without checking when your stay ends as otherwise I imagine the Cast Member is encouraging "theft" and that may get them written up. They used to sell one, three & five day options so they might be able to programme shorter lengths. But I have only seen 14 days as the longest reported and then extensions if the check out date is longer.

If you aren't staying another 14 days, why would you want the cup extended that long?

Any thoughts on this Tervis attachable handle as an alternative? I'd hate to spend the money, but it could work.

Looking for ideas on how to clip mugs to bags now that there are no handles...any crafty people with an idea?

Recent reports on the BC FAQ Thread say only handleless mugs.
