As of May, mugs with bar codes were only at the water parks and according to the discussion on these boards this summer, I think that is still true.
As for as bringing your mugs from a previous stay, you will find conflicting opinions. Last year, I brought back a mug I had purchased several years ago at the BC and was able to use it. At the BC, you must have a CM refill your drink at Beaches & Cream or Hurricane Hannahs by SAB, so I think it's their responsibility to tell us "Yes" or "No". FYI, I plan to bring along my previously purchased mugs when I go to the BCV in November and will leave the decision up to the CMs there.
