Referrals?

I know you get $200 for a first referral in a year. Anyone remember how much for the second or third in a year? I know they increase for each one. . Does it have to be in a calender year or can it just be in a 12 month period? We split it with the buyer, and just wanted to let them know how much. Thanks.

Lucky you we get $0.00 as we are from the UK but I still recommend it to friends and colleagues have never gotten a thank you from dvc yet

We've recommended countless people, and we too have yet to receive anything from Disney. We have friends down there right now, buying. Is there anything you have to do to make certain you get your referral fee?

I would call MS. I received my referral fee within a few months.

I think that one of the biggest problems is that the purchaser has to mention you referred them immediately on the first contact to DVC. If they say it after the fact you will get nothing. A couple people on the boards have complained that they referred people who had contacted DVC previously but did not purchase at that time. After talking to the member they did buy, but the member received nothing since they weren't referred on the original contact. Also, you will not recieve an incentive letter until the purchaser closes.
