Referral ? Thanks

DA and DU just purchased 500 pts at BCV. They had a wonderful stay at OKW and a visit to BCV during a Member Day BBQ. They said thanks to the DVC members they met, who made them feel at home even though they were not members. It was their 1st stay at a DVC resort. Since they used our name during the tour, do we receive anything? If so, is there anything we have to do on our end? Thanks

If your state of residence allows referrals, you are entitled to $200 in Disney Dollars. You should call your guide just to touch base with him and let him know your Aunt and uncle was referred by you to DVC.
Here are the states that allows referrals for DVC below.........

Alabama,California,Delaware,Florida,GeorgiaHawaii,
Idaho,Illonois,Iowa,Kansas,Louisianna,Maryland,Mas
s,Missisippi,Missouri,Nevada,New Hampshire,New Jersey,New Mexico,New York,North Dakota,Ohio,Rhode Island,South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Mike,
You are entitled to more than just the choice of Disney dollars. The value of the referral gift IS $200.00, as a level one first introduced guest to close, but you are also able to chose a credit to your annual dues (my choice-money in my pocket) or $200.00 applied to a down payment or a $200.00 donation to the American Red Cross or Give the Kids the World- (not eligible to claim the donation as a tax deduction.) The prize levels go up with each additional introduced, closed member with in the same calendar year, level 5 being the highest....1000.00!!! Oh, I wish!

WE had two referrals, but because we live in Minnesota, all we got was a form letter saying, "thank you very much, but your state doesn't allow us to give you a reward"!

The only good thing is that nobody moves to NJ unless they have to. Most of the population was born here. Once you're here you can never leave because you can't find a decent restaurant west of the Delaware River.

I live and grew up in Monmouth County. It is sooooo true. If you are born and raised in NJ you don't want to leave. Even if you move away, you always end up coming back. And even though sometimes living in NJ makes me nuts, I wouldn't want to live anyplace else (except WDW, of course )

(everyone sure likes our beaches LOL)

But it's ok, let the jokes fly. We are used to it
