Referals & Disney Dream Book

Has anyone had any luck in getting a Disney Dream book sent to them after buying a resale? I called my guide and left him a message that I would like one and I received a message back from him that he sent it out 3 day fed-ex but I never received it. That was 2 weeks ago. I also received a letter in the mail thanking me for referring a family to DVC. BUT, we never referred anyone. I actually had to apologize to the family becuase DVC kept calling them and they really had no interest. How could that happen?

I think the Dream Book is a marketing tool that is sent to prospective buyers. I know I do not have one myself, but I have not asked for one either.

How did you apologize to the family that you did not refer? Do you know them? If so, your name was obviously attached to theirs at some point by either you or them. Hope this helps....

If you are refering to the light blue hard cover book, we received that at the presentation.

Thanks everyone. Yes the light blue book is what I'm looking for. My guide said he shipped it out to me 3 day fed-ex but I never got it. I guess I have to call him back.

The family that we got a Thank You about is my Uncle. They are Disney Nuts as we are and they go to DL almost every month since they live in CA. I just can't figure out how we would have refered them when I haven't even seen them in 5 years. We will see them this November for our Grand Gathering in WDW but that's the only way we could be linked.
