The other candy thread made me think of this. Reese's are all made with chocolate and peanut butter. What changes with each type is the ratio. Which of these do you think has the best ratio of chocolate to peanut butter? I like the holiday shapes.

The Reese Bell's have the best chocolate to peanut butter filling ratio for plain Reese's. I like the Reese's Fast Break variety the best, a little salty with the sweet breaks it up.

I like the holiday since there is a higher ratio of peanut butter to chocolate. The minis would be my least favorite for the same reason. But really, I will eat any of them if offered.

I hate those tiny foil-wrapped ones...I end up having a pile of wrappers! :) One year someone got me the big super-sized huge Reese's cup. The chocolate was waaaay too thick and totally threw off the balance of pb to chocolate. Plus it was really hard because it was so thick.

They are all good*, but my favorite are the eggs. The full size ones they sell 6 to a pack, not the smaller ones that are individually wrapped in a bag.

*DH bought me the super large ones for Christmas one year, and I didn’t eat all of it. The ratio was off, difficult to eat, etc. so this is my least favorite but I would give it another go with no reservations if I were gifted them again.

We toured the factory in Oakdale, California when it was still there. They make their own peanut butter on site for the Reeses. Since the closed U.S. plants and shifted most production to Mexico, the peanut butter is too salty for my taste.

100%. YES

Individually wrapped minis.....more chocolate.
The bigger ones have chocolate too thin. They are melty unless we freeze them

Holiday all day every day !! I could eat my weight in them ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Trees / Pumpkins / Eggs / Bats - All yummy !!
When desperate I’ll eat the tiny foil ones but not even close and they are a pain
I like the big thicker ones with more peanut butter filling
I agree it’s saltier than it used to be

The individually wrapped minis were always my favorite. But there is something different about the chocolate now that I am not a fan of. It seems more waxy or something.

I had one last year, and I tried cutting it up because it was too big to bite into and it did not end well. The peanut butter oozed everywhere and the chocolate didn’t stick together well. They’re good in theory, but weird in execution.

OP, I thought this thread would be about the pronouncement of Reese’s.

If we're deconstructing shapes and ratios, what about the trees? They're basically the eggs, but with added pointy bits. That's more bits for your bite.

Let us consider the Reese's Pumpkin. Mark how closely it resembles the egg, with an added nubby on the top.

Who's afraid of the Reese's ghost??? It's basically the egg, slightly altered in shape, but with white chocolate. Clever disguise, but the same ol' thing.

I like Reese’s candy but I LOVED the Ultimate peanut butter lover option!
