Redweek Experiences?

Has anyone here ever tried to rent out a reservation somewhere other than this board's rent/trade board? I have a reservation I can't use and can't cancel without losing the points, and I want to try to rent it out, but I can't post it to the rent/trade board yet, as it's too far away from the reservation dates. Has anyone had any experience with redweek or bidshares or vrbo or anything else that has worked??
