Reddy...your SCAL cut files are awesome! Could you please post the link for your blog?

Thanks! :goodvibes

Woman, you are awesome! :worship:

I was thinking of you and SCAL when I was in M's today. I was looking at all of the $1 coloring books and thinking about all the things I could do. We are possibly going to WDW in May. This will be my first purchase post trip! :thumbsup2

I love the free coloring book pages that are on the internet - alot of times I google Disney coloring book pages & look at images

How does SCAL work? I know you can use it for fonts but how do you dissect a coloring page to cut stuff out in the right layers?

I need to get this because I have a ton of fonts (bit of a font addict) and would love to weld more letters. I'm not crazy about the way the cricut letters weld.

Here's a good tutorial on images. They have lots of others too! SVG Cuts

for coloring books - doing the dissect - I love this link here
http://cleversomeday.wordpress.com/images-to-svg/

The main thing to get down is "nodes" - you use them to adjust the lines

as for fonts - if they are true type & in your computer you just click on the text then font then they are listed & you scoll to the one you want to use.
just click weld - if you need to move the letters around then ungroup move then group them back (make sure weld is still checked) -- I love to copy & paste at this point & shadow as many as you want

Thanks for the wonderful comments - I really do love seeing them
it is nice to know others are using my work:cool1:

Hi Reddy,

Would it be possible for you to post how to share SCAL files online? I have a couple of files that I would like to share with others on this board but have no clue how to do it. Thanks for your help.

Cassey

Not Reddy, but I post my svg/scal files over on the Scal forum... (great forum and very helpful bunch of folks!)

and then post a link on here to the file at SCAL forum.

I'm probably going to sound completely computer illiterate but I'm not sure how to post a link on this board. I think that uploading a scal file would be similar to uploading a picture. I will have to figure it out.

I use 4share.com site to have the files where others can download - you can use it free or pay & miss the ads
