Not sure where to post this but since a lot of DVCers sometimes venture offsite on side trips here it goes.If anyone was headed to the space coast beaches in the next few days who have breathing problems use caution. To the North of Sebastian Inlet (just north of VB)up towards Cocoa Beach the red tide is in.(Last time I remember it in this area was around 9-10yrs ago.It was especially bad around Indiatlantic(at the end of route 192 if you drove straight east from Kissimmee)and Melbourne Beach. Was up at Satellite Beach yesterday(where some of the highest concentrations were sampled?) and it wasn't bad but stopped at our favorite pizza joint in Indiatlantic and you could swear you were stuck in the middle of a ragweed field. Some people don't get affected at all while most of us feel like we have a good case of hayfever. The algae bloom is supposed to be gone by the end of the weekend but still was pretty severe in spots yesterday.
