We are considering this hotel. Haven't found many reviews. I'd love any advice or thoughts all of you experts can give. How is the pool? Breakfast? View?

Thank you for any of your thoughts.

I have been following the reviews very closely since we won that hotel on priceline for next month.

I have heard mixed reviews. A lot of people are upset about a $15/night resort fee AND $15/day for parking on top of the other taxes. They are not completely upfront about the fees all the time. So when looking at rates take that into consideration.

I have heard that paying to upgrade your view is NOT worth it. You can't see much. There is a heated pool but no hot tub.

Breakfast also cost extra here unless you get the rate with it included.

I have not stayed here yet hut I have been reading reviews on tons of sites. I hope that we have a good stay but I also hate that I am now looking at $30 more a day for the parking and resort fee. That really sucks.

We stayed there in Jan. it's a very nice hotel but as mentioned above there are LOTS of hidden fees. My DD became paranoid about it, lol. It's also a pretty long walk to the parks and back. The ART does stop right out front though. I will say that the front desk and all the staff were top notch. For that reason I would stay there again if I HAD to but not before looking into every other option first.

We have stayed there several times due to finding great rates ($75/nt) on lastminutetravel.com. The resort fee was included when purchasing through LMT, but still had to pay the parking.
The rooms are nice. The hotel is about 1/3 or a mile from DL. The Toy Story Parking lot is located behind the hotel, so that is an option vs. walking...but it still is a slight walk to the TS lot.
There is a restaurant onsite, but I never ate there.
We would stay there again if the price is right, but prefer to stay closer.

We stayed there for a couple of nights last May, as we also "won" it on Priceline for a pretty decent price. I would say that it's worth what we paid on Priceline, but definitely not what their usual rates are. It was okay, but nothing spectacular. It was a short 2 day, park intensive stay, so we didn't use the pool. We didn't eat there either, but there is an I-Hop right next door, and we did that instead. It's close enough to the park to walk, which with a 6 year old, took half an hour, but the shuttle stops right out front, and that was a much better option.

We have this hotel booked for May 22-25 as we got a good deal on Groupon for $89/night. We're planning on walking to the Toy Story parking lot for transportation to DL as we don't have a car on this trip. I would like to hear reviews or tips as well.

We stayed here in 2008. A long time ago, but we really liked it at the time. Our room was nice, we took the ART easily to the parks and there was a restaurant when we came back early one afternoon to eat at. I think I remember eating at the pool (you'll have to call and ask if they have poolside service).
My niece was 3 at the time and loved the pool, I believe they had a "kiddie sized" pool or they had a really shallow end. She swam for hours there.

Everyone was pleasant. My Aunt had paid for the trip and got us all rooms there and everyone in the party enjoyed it, Nothing amazing I can remember but enjoyable.
