Recycled attractions elements

I was thinking today about some of the times when Disney has recycled ideas or elements from old rides into newer attractions. Here's a few that I can think of:

— The general plot line from "Mission to Mars" is used in "Mission: Space."
— The scent of the orange grove from "Horizons" can be found in "Soarin'"
— The choose-your-own-adventure ending from "Horizons" can be seen in "Spaceship Earth."

Most times, the element is modified or modernized in some way. Can anyone think of any other attractions that feature nods to old attractions?

In the Winnie the Pooh ride at MK there's a picture on the wall of Mr. Toad handing over the deed to Owl as a nod to the fact that Mr. Toad's Wild Ride used to be in that same spot.

There's also a Mr. Toad statue in the pet cemetery outside of the Haunted Mansion as a nod to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

I have read that the car inside of Spaceship Earth was part of an older GM attraction that resided in the Test Track building.

Another one that I remember reading about is some of the concepts planned for the never-built Western River Expedition at MK ended up inside the World of Motion.

How about recycled movie props? There used to be a huge model of the Nautilus from 20kLUtS in the water tank for the backstage tour at DHS. Not sure if its still there.

Speaking of the Nautilus, isn't Nemo's (the captain, not the fish) pipe organ used somewhere?

The spitting camels outside the Alladin Magic Carpet ride in the MK were once part of the afternoon Alladin parade at the (then) MGM Studios.

the organ is in the Haunted Mansion in DL, there is a nice little piece of horizons in the mission space line

The entire Stitch ride is Alien Encounter, with Stitch instead of the Alien. Does that count?

The new TTA spiel when your in SM makes reference to "Flight to the moon."

Many of the figures in Splash Mtn (Disneyland) were recycled from America Sings.

And the maintenance droids that were at Star Tours (DL) were geese in America Sings in a previous lifetime.

Also, I remember seeing SMRT-1 near the entrance to the Concourse Steak House.

aren't the cars for Space Mountain (MK not DL) the same design as the Matterhorn Bobsled cars?

The entire Stitch ride is Alien Encounter, with Stitch instead of the Alien. Does that count?

And before that it was the recycled Mission to Mars attraction.

Much brighter themeing and the biggest special effect was there were pistons under your seat that pulled it down so you felt like you were feeling the g forces of take off.

Its one of only a few rides I remember from my first trip in 77.

That sub is no longer there. Im not sure if it was built for the backstage tour, or if it was originally part of the 20 k ride. I do know that 2 of the subs from the ride now rest at Castaway Cay. 1 is sunk as an aritficial reef, in the snorkel laggon, and the other is on shore in the kids area to be dug out of the sand.

I read somewhere that the dog in the farmhouse scene in Living with the Land was recycled from somewhere, but I can't remember where.

Really? I have to check those out on my upcoming trip. I loved the Toad!

I recall being told that the dog in The Land is the same dog as the one in the old Horizons, Carrousel of Progress and the one holding the keys in Pirates of the Caribbean.

There is an old Grandma from the Carousel of Progress in the Haunted Mansion ballroom scene.

In the queue for the new Star Tours (HS) they have the old Rex droids that used to be inside the simulator. They're all tagged defective. LOL
